responsible service of alcohol procedures is practiced at all times\nTrains and monitors Food & Beverage Team and ensures service standards are met\nManages all Team Members in all aspects of the daily operation of the outlet, providing the necessary assistance where required\nEnsure Team Members have strong product knowledge of all wine styles on the outlet wine list\nEnsures that approved service sequences and standards are established and maintained at all times\nEnsures that all opening and closing procedures are carried out to an acceptable standard and supervises outlet\nMaintains efficient operating procedures for the outlet’s point of sale cashiering computer system, ensuring accuracy and balancing of till and the department cash float\nMaintains a high level of cleanliness and care of all equipment and materials; and ensure security of outlet\nHave an understanding of all licensing and operating legislation which affects the department including the Liquor Act.\nPromptly reports any maintenance work required to the maintenance department\nMaintains all outlet stock levels\nPerform monthly stocktakes on all beverage stock and complete timely reporting of stocktake findings\nDevelops training plans and conducts on and off the job training sessions for all outlet Team Members\nAttends all scheduled food and beverage and other relevant meetings when required\nMonitors outlets manpower, payroll budget, control costs and maximise profitability\nTake extreme care with personal grooming in order to maintain a consistently high level of professional appearance and monitors service personnel’s appearance and grooming\nOther duties as may be prescribed from time to time due to operational needs\n Proven experience of incremental responsibility within a hotel environment.\nProven experience in similar position within a hotel environment advantageous\nExperience supervising, training and motivating staff\nExperience creating rosters and adhering to wage control\n Proven ability to act independently on all matters relating to team and guest safety and wellbeing in the absence of senior management\nWell presented with an eye for detail and strong organisational skills\nCalm and professional demeanour in all instances, confident in conflict resolution and complaint handling\nExcellent time management and communication skills including rapport building between internal and external stakeholders\nExcellent computer system skills\nConfident interpreting and generating reports as well as reviewing daily occupancies to ensure smooth operations\nStrong focus and passion for hotel operations\nDemonstrated ability to coach, mentor, develop and inspire teams\nTime management skills with the ability to multitask\nStrong
