Our properties are located from the beaches of Hawaii, to the unspoiled national parks of Canada, to the heart of London, to the deserts of the United Arab Emirates.\nHotel Overview:\nLocated in the heart of downtown Fairmont New Orleans will be an impressive new addition to Fairmont’s luxury portfolio, offering 250 luxury guest rooms, four food & drink venues, a rooftop pool with expansive views of the city, more than 19,000 square feet of function space, and a 10,000 square-foot spa.\nThis property is destined to become an illustrious destination in the Central Business District, nearby the city’s renowned and historic French Quarter.\n Warmly greet and acknowledge guests upon arrival and throughout their Pool Lounge experience. \nServe as an ambassador of Fairmont New Orleans and the Pool Lounge. \nManage reservations, seating assignments, waitlists, cabana assignments, and guest preferences as applicable. \nEscort guests to tables, loungers, cabanas, or designated seating areas. \nCommunicate relevant information regarding menus, Pool Lounge offerings, hours, amenities, and hotel policies. \nMaintain knowledge of Pool Lounge food and beverage offerings. \nMaintain awareness of cabana packages, special events, promotions, and seasonal offerings. \nMonitor guest flow and coordinate closely with Servers, Bartenders, Runners, and Management. \nManage guest expectations regarding wait times, seating availability, and cabana availability. \nCoordinate VIP arrivals, special occasions, celebrations, and guest preferences. \nAnswer telephone calls and assist with reservations, guest inquiries, and operational communication. \nRespond promptly and professionally to guest questions, concerns, and requests. \nAssist with guest recovery efforts and involve leadership when appropriate. \nMaintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation of the host stand, entrance, seating areas, and guest-facing spaces. \nMonitor poolside conditions and communicate safety, maintenance, or guest concerns to appropriate hotel leadership. \nMaintain familiarity with Fairmont New Orleans amenities, dining outlets, events, and local attractions. \nSupport the Pool Lounge during peak periods and high-volume operations. \nAssist with opening, closing, stocking, cleaning, and other operational duties. \nMaintain a polished and professional appearance consistent with Fairmont New Orleans standards. \nFollow all hotel policies, service standards, safety procedures, and pool-area regulations. \nPerform additional duties as assigned. \n Previous Host / Hostess, restaurant, hotel, resort, pool, or guest service experience preferred. \nLuxury hotel or upscale hospitality experience is an asset. \nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills. \nStrong organizational and multitasking abilities. \nAbility to remain professional and composed in a high-volume environment. \nProfessional appearance and polished demeanor required. \nStrong guest service mindset. \nBasic computer and reservation system experience preferred. \nAbility to work outdoors for extended periods in warm and humid weather. \nAbility to work flexible schedules including days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts. \nMust be legally authorized to work in the United States. \n Join our team and enjoy a range of exclusive colleague perks, including complimentary upgrades, extended stays, discounted stays across Fairmont & Raffles properties, special dining and wellness discounts, and added luxuries to enhance your experience.
