This position manages reservations, seating, guest flow, and special requests while ensuring each guest receives personalized and attentive service from arrival.\nResponsibilities:\nWarmly greet and acknowledge guests upon arrival while creating a polished and memorable first impression \nServe as an ambassador of Third Measure and Fairmont New Orleans \nManage reservations, waitlists, seating assignments, and guest preferences \nEscort guests to tables or designated seating areas \nMaintain knowledge of Third Measure's cocktail, food, and beverage offerings \nMaintain knowledge of operating hours, dress code, reservation policies, special events, and hotel amenities \nProvide guests with accurate and engaging information regarding the Third Measure experience \nMonitor dining and lounge activity and coordinate seating flow with Servers, Bartenders, Runners, and Management \nManage guest expectations regarding wait times and seating availability \nMaintain awareness of VIPs, repeat guests, celebrations, special occasions, and guest preferences \nCoordinate VIP and high-profile guest arrivals with discretion and professionalism \nAnswer telephone calls and assist with reservations and guest inquiries \nRespond promptly and professionally to guest questions, concerns, and special requests\nAssist with guest recovery efforts and involve leadership when appropriate\nMaintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation standards at the host stand, entrance, waiting areas, and guest spaces \nMaintain awareness of the atmosphere and guest experience throughout the Lounge \nMonitor guest flow and communicate operational concerns to leadership \nMaintain familiarity with Fairmont New Orleans amenities, dining outlets, events, and local attractions \nAssist with opening, closing, stocking, cleaning, and other operational duties \nMaintain a polished and professional appearance consistent with Third Measure and Fairmont standards \nFollow all hotel policies, service standards, safety procedures, and operational requirements \nPerform additional duties as assigned\n Previous Host / Hostess, restaurant, hotel, lounge, or guest service experience preferred\nLuxury hotel, fine dining, upscale restaurant, or cocktail lounge experience preferred \nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills \nStrong organizational and multitasking abilities \nAbility to remain composed and professional in a high-volume environment \nProfessional appearance and polished demeanor required \nStrong guest service mindset \nAbility to interact confidently with discerning guests and VIP clientele \nBasic computer and reservation system experience preferred \nAbility to work late-night schedules, evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts \nMust be legally authorized to work in the United States \n Join our team and enjoy a range of exclusive colleague perks, including complimentary upgrades, extended stays, discounted stays across Fairmont & Raffles properties, special dining and wellness discounts, and added luxuries to enhance your experience.
