function, including general ledger maintenance, journal entries, accruals, prepayments and reconciliations.\nManage the end-to-end accounts payable process and oversee accounts receivable activities.\nPrepare weekly and monthly bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.\nMaintain and process payroll-related accounting entries.\nPrepare and lodge BAS, payroll tax, FBT and other statutory compliance requirements.\nPrepare monthly income statement, financial analysis and balance sheet reconciliations.\nAssist with month end management reporting, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.\nCoordinate month-end and year-end closing activities and support internal and external audits.\nMaintain internal controls, accounting policies and compliance with relevant regulations.\nManage inventory accounting and stock controls.\nProcess and reconcile intercompany transactions.\nSupport process improvement initiatives and provide ad hoc financial and operational support as required.\n Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.\nCPA/CA qualified or working towards qualification preferred.\nMinimum 5 years' accounting experience.\nSound knowledge of Australian accounting standards, BAS, payroll tax and compliance requirements.\nStrong Excel and accounting SUN, Purchase plus and Opera system experience preferred.\n Competencies \nHigh attention to
