Join our Fairmont family today!\n As the Housekeeping Operations Manager at Fairmont, you will lead and inspire a team of housekeeping professionals to deliver the highest standards of cleanliness and luxury service. You will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring guest satisfaction, maintaining brand standards, and managing labor and supplies efficiently. This role requires a strategic leader with exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a passion for creating exceptional guest experiences.\nStart Date: November 2026\nPosition Type: Permanent\nJob Duties Include:\nLead, supervise, and support all areas of the Housekeeping Department including Room Attendants, Housepersons, Turndown Attendants, and Public Area Attendants.\nEnsure guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house areas, and staff facilities meet Fairmont’s luxury cleanliness standards.\nSchedule and monitor staffing levels to align with occupancy and operational needs.\nMaintain effective communication across departments (e.g., Front Office, Engineering, Canmore Regional Laundry).\nConduct regular inspections and ensure compliance with LQA standards.\nRespond to guest feedback, resolve service issues promptly, and implement improvements.\nTrain, coach, and evaluate team performance; foster a culture of recognition and growth.\nManage departmental budgets, control inventory, and oversee ordering of supplies and amenities.\nEnsure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.\nLead sustainability initiatives within the housekeeping department.\nDevelop and update job descriptions, job task checklists and standard operating procedures.\n Previous housekeeping management experience, preferably in a luxury hotel environment.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of Opera or similar property management systems is an asset.\nDiploma or degree in Hospitality Management or related field is preferred.\nYou may be required to work on holidays, weekends, overnights and other non-day shifts.
