It is an opportunity to help shape the next chapter of an iconic brand, work alongside an ambitious and creative team and play a part in creating a hotel that feels distinctly Delano from day one.\n Under the general guidance of the housekeeping management team, the Housekeeping Porter is responsible for supporting the housekeeping team by maintaining cleanliness and organization of guest rooms, corridors, and public areas. The Housekeeping Porter ensures that all assigned tasks are completed efficiently, upholding brand standards and contributing to a welcoming environment that enhances the guest experience.\nYOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:\nAssist Room Attendants by delivering clean linens, towels, amenities, and supplies to guest rooms and housekeeping carts.\nRemove soiled linens and waste from guest rooms and common areas in a timely and hygienic manner.\nTo complete cleaning checklist of all assigned rooms and areas\nParticipate in projects, special assignments, and training sessions\nMaintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping storage rooms, corridors, and service areas.\nRespond promptly to Guest requests as well as to requests from Room Attendants and Housekeeping Supervisor.\nEnsure public areas and back-of-house spaces are clean, tidy, and presentable at all times.\nReport any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards observed during rounds to the Housekeeping Supervisor.\nFollow strict key signing procedures and take responsibility for assigned keys.\nFollow lost property procedure and immediately hand all find items to the Housekeeping Supervisor.\nMaintain a professional and friendly, courteous approach when interacting with guests and colleagues.\nEscalate guest concerns and complaints to the Housekeeping Supervisor promptly.\nSupport stock organization, inventory checks and replenishment of housekeeping supplies and amenities, and linen.\nMaintain all housekeeping equipment in a safe and serviceable condition and report defects immediately.\nFollow all hotel health, safety, fire and security procedures and report hazards immediately.\nAdhere to hotel policies and procedures related to health, safety, and security standards.\nSupport special projects or preventative-cleaning tasks as assigned by supervisors.\nUphold brand standards for cleanliness, guest privacy, and professionalism.\nWe recognize we are in the hospitality industry and that may require us to provide lateral service.\n High school diploma or equivalent education required.\nPrevious experience in housekeeping or hospitality support roles preferred.\nBasic knowledge of hotel operations and guest service standards.\nFamiliarity with cleaning techniques, materials, and equipment used in housekeeping.\nStrong verbal communication skills in English; additional language skills are a plus.\nMust be physically able to stand, walk, and perform tasks for a minimum eight-hour shift.\nAbility to be observant, responsive, and handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.\nMust be able to twist, push/pull, reach, bend, climb, and carry objects as required.\nWorking knowledge of health and safety regulations related to housekeeping and hotel operations.\nWhat's in it for you...\nThe opportunity to launch a visionary hospitality brand in London and shape its culinary identity.\nJoin a fast-growing international group focused on building a global hospitality brand.\nA creative, ambitious environment where innovation and excellence are encouraged.\nBe part of a passionate team building a strong portfolio of hospitality concepts.\nStrong development opportunities.\nAt Delano London, innovation, excellence and guest-centricity are core.
