This is a mandatory step for your candidacy to be considered as it enables us to explore your compatibility with this role and our culture of luxury excellence.\n We invite you to join the world of luxury hospitality at Raffles & Fairmont Doha as our new Housekeeping Supervisor.\nThe Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily housekeeping operations at Raffles Doha and Fairmont Doha, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, hygiene, and guest satisfaction in accordance with the brands' luxury hospitality standards.\nThe role involves supervising and motivating housekeeping colleagues, inspecting guest rooms and public areas, coordinating daily assignments, monitoring operational efficiency, and ensuring exceptional guest service across both properties.\nKey Responsibilities:\nSupervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations to ensure smooth and efficient workflow.\nAssign duties and work schedules to Room Attendants and housekeeping colleagues according to occupancy and operational requirements.\nConduct regular inspections of guest rooms, suites, corridors, and public areas to ensure compliance with luxury hotel standards.\nEnsure all guest rooms are cleaned, inspected, and released on time according to arrival and departure schedules.\nMonitor room cleanliness, presentation, maintenance issues, and replenishment of guest amenities.\nEnsure VIP rooms, special requests, and guest preferences receive personalized attention.\nHandle guest complaints and requests promptly, professionally, and efficiently to maximize guest satisfaction.\nCoordinate with Front Office, Engineering, Laundry, and other departments to ensure smooth hotel operations.\nMonitor colleagues' grooming, attendance, productivity, and performance while maintaining discipline and teamwork.\nProvide on-the-job training, coaching, and guidance to housekeeping colleagues to improve service quality and operational performance.\nMonitor linen, cleaning supplies, guest amenities, and equipment to ensure proper usage and minimize wastage.\nEnsure proper handling, storage, and usage of cleaning chemicals and housekeeping equipment.\nFollow up on maintenance defects and ensure all reported issues are communicated to the Engineering Department.\nEnsure compliance with hotel policies, health and safety regulations, hygiene standards, and departmental procedures.\nPrepare daily reports, room inspection checklists, staff assignments, and shift handover reports.\nEnsure Lost & Found items are handled, recorded, and stored according to hotel procedures.\nSupport the Housekeeping Team in achieving departmental objectives and maintaining Raffles and Fairmont brand standards.\n What will you bring to this role?\nDiploma or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field preferred.\nMinimum 2-3 years of housekeeping experience in a five-star hotel.\nPrevious supervisory or team leader experience.\nStrong knowledge of housekeeping operations and room inspection standards.\nUnderstanding of luxury hotel brand standards and guest service excellence.\nKnowledge of Opera PMS and housekeeping management systems.\nExcellent leadership and communication skills.\nAbility to supervise, motivate, and develop a multicultural team.\nStrong organizational and problem-solving abilities.\nGood command of written and spoken English.\nKnowledge of health, safety, hygiene, and chemical handling procedures.\nAbility to work flexible shifts, weekends, and public holidays.\nExcellent attention to detail and organizational skills.\nAbility to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.\nProfessional appearance, positive attitude, and commitment to guest satisfaction.\nEmbrace the Raffles & Fairmont brand promise and luxury in your role and in all your interactions\nFoster an inclusive environment where every individual feels valued and respected\nCreate an environment where colleagues are empowered, supported and recognized\n Employee Benefits\nJoin our team and enjoy a range of exclusive colleague perks, including complimentary upgrades, extended stays, discounted stays across Fairmont & Raffles properties, special dining and wellness discounts, and added luxuries to enhance your experience.
