This position requires availability on weekends and holidays.\nCome join our Flock!\n Supervises: Room Attendants, Turndown Attendants, Housepersons/Lobby Attendants\nReports To: Executive Housekeeper or Housekeeping Manager\nGeneral Purpose: The Housekeeping Supervisor ensures that the daily duties of the staff are completed to the highest standards of cleanliness and guest comfort.\nSpecific Responsibilities:\nPromotes a safe environment and quality service to achieve maximum guest satisfaction, protection of assets, using minimal expenses to maximize profits.\nSupervises the housekeeping staff via providing open communication, training, coaching and counseling and provide performance feedback to ensure maximum efficiency.\n\nSupervises and inspects the cleaning of the guest rooms, turndown service, public areas and back of the house.\n\nEnsures compliance with accident/loss prevention programs, SOP’s, health/sanitation standards and regulations to achieve a high level of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.\n\nIssues assignments to staff.\n\nIssues supplies/goods to staff at beginning of shift.\n\nHelps Executive Housekeeper control inventory and ensure proper supplies are available while watching expenses.\n\nResponds to guest requests, concerns and problems to ensure guest satisfaction, work with Front Desk and Engineering staff as necessary.\n\nLogs items into the Lost and Found (Go Concierge) to maintain controls and ensure guest satisfaction.\n\nImplements emergency training and procedures to ensure appropriate protection of the hotel, guest, staff and company assets.\n\nAssists the evening staff in the performance of duties to include: cleaning of lobby, turndown service, maintenance of outside area of hotel.\n\nMonitors and maintain inventory of linens, cleaning supplies, and mini bar items.\n\nAssists Executive Housekeeper with maintaining the department checkbook.\n\nMust be able to open, close, or work any shift during special events.\n\nProfessionally and efficiently uses 2-way radio to communicate with housekeeping staff and other departments across property.\n\nOther duties as assigned by your supervisor or manager.\n\nQualifications:\nGood eye for details\n\nWorking knowledge of housekeeping and hotel services, policies and operations.\n\nDemonstrated supervisory experience and skills.\n\nGood communication skills.\n\nMust pass a background check.\n\nEducation/Formal Training\nHigh school education or equivalent experience\n\nExperience:\nOne to two years in a related position with this company or other similar.\n\nPhysical Requirements:\nMust be able to bend down and get on and off floor numerous times per day.\n\n21c Museum Hotels is an equal opportunity employer.
