Together, we embody the vision of responsible hospitality.\nTake the opportunity to become a Heartist®, and let your heart guide you in this world where life beats faster.\n The Housekeeping Team Leader is responsible for overseeing daily housekeeping activities, ensuring that guest villas, public areas, and back-of-house facilities are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation.\nThe role involves coordinating daily assignments, guiding and supporting housekeeping associates, conducting quality inspections, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences in line with Our Habitas service standards and brand philosophy.\nHousekeeping Operations\nCoordinate and supervise daily cleaning activities across guest villas, public areas, and assigned facilities.\n\nAllocate daily tasks to housekeeping associates based on occupancy, operational priorities, and staffing levels.\n\nEnsure guest villas are cleaned, inspected, and prepared according to established standards and timelines.\n\nMonitor arrival, departure, stayover, and special-request villa cleaning.\n\nEnsure proper handling, storage, and replenishment of guest amenities, linens, and housekeeping supplies.\n\nCoordinate with Front Office and Maintenance to ensure timely villa readiness and resolution of operational issues.\n\nReport maintenance defects, damages, and safety hazards promptly.\n\nQuality Assurance & Guest Experience\nConduct regular inspections of guest villas and assigned areas to ensure compliance with cleanliness and presentation standards.\n\nEnsure all guest requests are handled promptly, professionally, and with attention to detail.\n\nSupport personalized guest experiences by anticipating needs and communicating preferences to the team.\n\nAddress minor guest concerns and escalate unresolved issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager.\n\nEnsure guest privacy, confidentiality, and security are maintained at all times.\n\nMonitor and maintain cleanliness in guest-facing and back-of-house areas.\n\nTeam Leadership & Development\nLead, motivate, and support housekeeping associates during daily operations.\n\nConduct daily briefings to communicate assignments, priorities, guest requirements, and service expectations.\n\nProvide on-the-job training, coaching, and guidance to new and existing team members.\n\nMonitor team productivity, performance, grooming, and adherence to resort standards.\n\nPromote teamwork, accountability, and a positive working environment.\n\nReport performance concerns and operational challenges to the Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager.\n\nSupport the development of associates through regular feedback and recognition.\n\nInventory & Equipment Management\nMonitor the proper use and availability of cleaning supplies, chemicals, linens, amenities, and equipment.\n\nAssist with stock counts, inventory control, and replenishment requests.\n\nEnsure housekeeping equipment is maintained, cleaned, and stored correctly.\n\nMonitor linen usage and minimize losses, damage, and unnecessary wastage.\n\nEnsure cleaning chemicals are properly labeled, stored, and handled according to safety procedures.\n\nSupport sustainability initiatives through responsible use of water, energy, and cleaning materials.\n\nHealth, Safety & Compliance\nEnsure compliance with housekeeping SOPs, hygiene requirements, and health and safety regulations.\n\nReinforce safe working practices, including proper use of personal protective equipment and cleaning chemicals.\n\nEnsure lost-and-found items are reported, recorded, and handled according to resort procedures.\n\nReport accidents, incidents, suspicious activities, and security concerns immediately.\n\nMaintain safe and organized housekeeping storage areas and service facilities.\n\nEnsure compliance with resort grooming, attendance, and professional conduct standards.\n\nAdministrative & Operational Coordination\nMaintain accurate records of villa inspections, cleaning assignments, and completed tasks.\n\nUpdate villa status and communicate discrepancies with Front Office.\n\nAssist in preparing daily work schedules and monitoring attendance.\n\nSupport the Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager in operational reporting and departmental initiatives.\n\nParticipate in departmental meetings, training sessions, and quality improvement activities.\n\nPerform other reasonable duties assigned by management to support resort operations.\n\n High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality-related qualifications are an advantage.\n\nMinimum 2-3 years of housekeeping experience, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort.\n\nPrevious experience as a Senior Housekeeping Attendant or in a team-leading capacity is preferred.\n\nStrong knowledge of housekeeping procedures, cleaning techniques, and quality standards.\n\nFamiliarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment, linen handling, and safety procedures.\n\nGood command of English;
