In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of income documentation through comprehensive audits and financial analysis. You will work closely with our finance and accounting teams to verify income records, identify discrepancies, and maintain compliance with established audit standards and regulations. statements, financial records, and supporting documentation to verify accuracy and completeness\nPerform detailed income verification procedures and reconcile variances between recorded amounts and supporting evidence\nIdentify discrepancies, irregularities, and potential audit risks during the audit process\nPrepare comprehensive audit reports, working papers, and documentation in accordance with audit standards\nEnsure compliance with internal audit procedures, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies\nCollaborate with finance, accounting, and operational teams to gather necessary information and clarify audit findings\nMaintain organized and detailed audit trails, ensuring all documentation is properly filed and easily retrievable\nFollow up on audit recommendations and track the implementation of corrective actions\nAssist in the development and refinement of audit procedures and controls\nCommunicate audit findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and professional manner\n 1-3 years of professional experience in audit, accounting, finance, or related roles\nProven experience with income verification processes and financial analysis\nStrong proficiency in MS Excel, including advanced functions such as pivot tables and VLOOKUP\nHands-on experience with accounting software and financial management systems\nSolid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and audit standards\nExcellent attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies and anomalies\nStrong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple audit assignments\nProficient written and verbal communication skills in English\nAnalytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment\nFamiliarity with internal audit frameworks and compliance requirements\nPreferred: Experience with ERP systems and knowledge of Indian tax
