In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing daily kitchen operations, coordinating staff activities, and ensuring smooth workflow to support our food service operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and quality.\nCoordinate and schedule kitchen staff to ensure adequate coverage and optimal workflow throughout service periods\nMonitor inventory levels and manage food stock rotation to minimize waste and maintain freshness\nEnsure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards across all kitchen areas\nCommunicate with kitchen staff, management, and other departments to coordinate meal preparation and service\nMaintain and organize kitchen equipment, reporting any maintenance issues promptly\nAssist in training new kitchen staff on procedures, safety protocols, and operational standards\nTrack food costs and portion sizes to support budget management and cost control initiatives\nResolve operational issues and conflicts in a professional and efficient manner\nPrepare and maintain accurate records of inventory, staff schedules, and kitchen operations\nCollaborate with management to implement process improvements and enhance kitchen efficiency\n Proven experience in kitchen operations, food service coordination, or related hospitality roles\nStrong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards and regulations\nExcellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks\nProficiency in inventory management and basic cost control\nDemonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse teams and communicate clearly\nDetail-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving abilities\nFamiliarity with kitchen equipment and maintenance procedures\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities\nPreferred experience with kitchen management software or point-of-sale systems\nPreferred experience in vendor management and supplier coordination\nFood safety certification
