As a Kitchen Hand, you will play a crucial role in supporting the kitchen operations and maintaining a clean and organised workspace.\nKey Responsibilities\nAssist in basic food preparation tasks as directed by the kitchen team.\nMaintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in kitchen areas, including washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.\nEnsure timely removal of waste and recycling, keeping disposal areas organized.\nSupport kitchen staff in various tasks, contributing to the overall efficiency of the kitchen.\nFollow established health and safety guidelines in all aspects of the role.\nAssist with the organization and storage of kitchen supplies\n Ability to work a flexible roster including mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays\nAbility to work efficiently under pressure.\nMotivated and driven.\nStrong organisational skills.\nPrevious experience as a Kitchen Hand is advantageous but not essential.\nAbility to work well in a fast-paced kitchen environment.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and hygiene.\nGood communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.\nWillingness to follow instructions and learn new tasks.\nAvailability for the specified fixed-term duration.\nMust be a New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or hold a valid work visa/permit.
