Here, talent is not only recognized, it plays a vital role in shaping the next chapter of this extraordinary resort and its legacy within the brand.\nWe invite you to join the world of luxury hospitality at Raffles The Palm as we are currently looking for a Lifeguard, reporting to the Lifeguard Supervisor.\nThe Lifeguard is responsible for supervising the safety and welfare of all swimmers and guests in the pool and beach areas, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment. The role includes monitoring swimming areas, enforcing safety rules, conducting regular safety checks, and carrying out prompt rescue and emergency procedures whenever necessary.\nAt Raffles, the Lifeguard plays an important role in ensuring guest safety while delivering a welcoming and attentive service. The ideal candidate is vigilant, responsible, proactive, and confident in handling emergencies, while maintaining the high standards of safety and service that define the Raffles experience.\nKEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES\nOperation\nTo identify and report hazards and maintenance requirements in the work place and immediately report to the Lifeguard Supervisor / Recreation Supervisor\nTo check your area on a daily basis. To make sure that it is safe, clean and fit for guests use\nTo attend daily briefings\nEnsure all opening up, closing down procedure are adhered to daily in order to offer smooth efficient service\nTo be fully aware of and work in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures and Emergency Action Plan for your department\nCarry out a full check on all lifesaving equipment on a daily basis, complete appropriate checklist and advice your problems relating to the equipment\nEnsure all areas are clean and equipment is in full working order\nEnforce all Recreation Rules and Regulations for the pool and beach use\nMaintain efficient supervision of the pool and beach using 10/20 rule\nBe fully conversant with the Rescue / Emergency procedures and your responsibilities in the event of any emergency\nTraining\nTo attend and participate in departmental and hotel training to ensure consistent delivery of product & service standards.
