You will welcome guests, support late arrivals and early departures, assist with guest queries, and help keep the hotel running smoothly while most of the world is asleep - glamorous, we know, but someone has to keep Heathrow moving.\nYou will play a key role in making sure our guests feel safe, looked after, and well cared for throughout the night. You will also support the general running of the hotel, complete night audit tasks, carry out safety checks, and help prepare the operation for the next day.\nYour main responsibilities will include:\nWelcoming guests warmly during the night and delivering a smooth check-in and check-out experience\nHandling guest queries, requests and complaints in a professional and helpful manner\nCompleting night audit procedures accurately\nCarrying out hotel safety and security checks during the night\nSupporting guests who may require special attention or assistance\nAssisting other departments with basic night-time operational needs\nPreparing reports and handovers for the morning team\nEnsuring the reception area remains clean, organised and ready for the next shift\nActing confidently and responsibly in emergency situations, following hotel procedures\nHelping create a positive guest experience from arrival to farewell\nYou will be trained in all front of house related functions, hotel safety procedures, and the systems needed to support you in the role.\nTo help you understand the guest journey first-hand, we will also arrange a one-night stay for you so you can experience the hotel from a guest’s perspective.\nThis is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, stays calm under pressure, and takes pride in making guests feel welcome - even at 3am, when everyone involved is running on airport coffee and pure determination.\n We are looking for someone who is confident, reliable, and passionate about hospitality.\nYou will be a good fit for this role if you:\nHave previous experience in hotel reception, guest service, or a similar customer-facing role\nHas previous experience with Opera Cloud\nAre confident dealing with guests in person, by phone and by email\nCan work independently during night shifts\nAre calm, responsible and able to handle unexpected situations professionally\nHave strong communication skills\nAre organised and accurate with administrative tasks\nAre comfortable using hotel systems, or willing to learn\nUnderstand the importance of safety, security and guest wellbeing\nAre fluent in English\nEnjoy working as part of a team, while also being able to manage tasks independently\nPrevious experience with night audit procedures or hotel reception systems would be an advantage, but full training will be provided.\nMost importantly, we are looking for someone with the right attitude: friendly, dependable, guest-focused and ready to bring their personality to the role.\nReady to discover more?
