You love helping your team and ensuring each department is setup for success - and it just so happens you will be doing just that in an award-winning hotel.\nUnload incoming shipments, inspect goods for damage, and verify quantities against purchase orders or invoices.\nPerform routine cycle counts, and assist with full inventory audits\nLabel and organize inventory using First-In, First-Out (FIFO) methods, monitor expiration dates, and flag low stock levels to Purchasing manager\nPull, pack, and distribute requested supplies to departments (Kitchens, Amuse, Banquets)\nClean and sanitize storeroom areas, refrigerators, and freezers while operating machinery like pallet jacks according to safety guidelines\nEnsure all order documents are complete and verified (i.e. purchase orders, daily market lists)\nVerify all outgoing merchandise is properly authorized and recorded\nCommunicate effectively with departments and facilitate the ordering of products\nPersonally check inventory levels are maintained to minimize waste and maximize ratio turnover.\nMaintain a process to ensure pars of stock are maintained with trigger mechanism for timely deliveries\nUtilize Birchstreet for electronic ordering and receiving\nReview purchase requests with Purchasing Manager\nCollaborate with the Purchasing Manager, Director, Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, and Front office to ensure inventory is accurate and stocked\nMaintain and organize the dry goods supply area with building pars and managing purchases\nAssist with keeping par and organization of 24/7 Store inventory\nReports any hazards, risks, accidents as required\nAny other tasks that may be assigned\nPhysical aspects of the position include but are not limited to the following:\nFrequent standing and walking throughout the shift\nFrequent bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling\nFrequent lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs\nFrequent moving or pushing items on a hand cart/truck weighing up to approximately 400 lbs\n YOUR EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS INCLUDE:\nService focused personality is essential; experience is an asset\nPrior experience working with inventory, supply ordering, and purchasing an asset\nComputer skills preferred including Microsoft Word, Excel, and ability to navigate systems\nAbility to take initiative, organize, direct, and plan\nFluency in English; additional languages are a plus\n 1 year in related and/or equivalent hospitality experience preferred\nDemonstrate strong communication skills both verbal and written.\n WHAT IS IN IT FOR YOU:\nHourly Rate: $26.77 per hour\nEmployee Benefit Card offering discounted rates at Accor worldwide\nLearning & Development programs through our Academies\nOpportunity to develop your talent and grow within our property and across the world!\nAbility to make a difference through our Corporate Social Responsibilities, such as Sustainability, Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging\nHeart + Artist = Heartist®\nOur Heartist Culture\nAt Accor, we are all Heartists®.
