In this role, you will be responsible for managing payroll operations, ensuring accurate compensation processing, and maintaining compliance with local tax and labor regulations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while supporting our organization's financial objectives.\nProcess and calculate payroll transactions for all employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness\nMaintain comprehensive payroll records and documentation in compliance with Iraqi labor laws and tax regulations\nReconcile payroll accounts and investigate discrepancies to resolve issues promptly\nPrepare detailed payroll reports and analysis for management review and decision-making\nVerify employee compensation data, deductions, and benefits information for accuracy\nUpdate and maintain payroll system entries, ensuring all employee information is current and correct\nCoordinate with Human Resources and Finance departments to exchange employee data and resolve payroll-related inquiries\nConduct regular payroll audits and reviews to identify process improvements and ensure regulatory compliance\nSupport month-end and year-end closing procedures, including reconciliations and financial reporting\nEnsure all payroll activities comply with local tax requirements and organizational policies\n Proven experience in payroll processing and general accounting functions\nStrong proficiency with accounting software and payroll systems \nComprehensive knowledge of Iraqi tax regulations, labor laws, and employment compliance requirements\nExcellent numerical and analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies\nExceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all payroll calculations and records\nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting\nStrong time management skills with the ability to meet strict payroll deadlines\nExcellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams\nAbility to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information professionally\nPreferred: Experience working in the Iraqi business environment or with Middle Eastern payroll
