maintenance, and presentation of all public areas of the hotel, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction are consistently achieved.\nOperational Responsibilities\nSupervise daily cleaning activities in all public areas, including:Lobby and reception areas\nPublic guest washrooms\nCorridors and staircases\nRestaurants and bars\nMeeting rooms and banquet areas\nEntrances and exterior walkways\nSpa, Gym and Kids Club\n\nConduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness standards are maintained.\nAssign duties and monitor staff performance throughout the shift.\nCoordinate deep-cleaning schedules for carpets, upholstery, walls, windows, and hard floors.\nEnsure public areas are always guest-ready and presentable.\nFollow up on all maintenance issues and report defects promptly.\nMonitor and maintain cleanliness during conferences, meetings, and special events.\nStaff Supervision\nPrepare daily work schedules and assignments.\nTrain, coach, and motivate public area attendants.\nEnsure all team members comply with housekeeping SOPs.\nMonitor grooming standards and departmental appearance.\nConduct on-the-job training and performance follow-up.\nInventory & Equipment Control\nMonitor usage of cleaning chemicals and supplies.\nEnsure proper handling and storage of chemicals according to safety guidelines.\nMaintain inventory of public area supplies and equipment.\nReport damaged or missing equipment immediately.\nAssist in controlling departmental expenses.\nHealth, Safety & Security\nEnsure compliance with hotel safety and sanitation standards.\nMaintain safe working practices at all times.\nEnsure wet-floor signage and other safety measures are in place.\nReport accidents, incidents, and hazards promptly.\nEnsure proper key control and security procedures are followed.\nGuest Service\nConsistently provide professional, friendly, and engaging service.\nRespond promptly to guest requests and concerns.\nHandle guest complaints relating to cleanliness professionally and efficiently.\nWork closely with Front Office, Engineering, Security, and Food & Beverage departments to enhance guest satisfaction.\n Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field\nAt least 2-3 years’ experience in housekeeping operations, preferably in a luxury hotel environment\n\nExperience in a luxury hotel environment is an added advantage.\n\nExcellent organizational and time-management skills\n\nStrong written and verbal
