As a key member of the pre-opening team, the Purchasing Manager will support procurement planning, supplier management, budget control, and operational readiness.\nKey Responsibilities\nPurchasing & Procurement\nManage all purchasing activities in line with company standards, policies, and approved budgets.\n\nSource and negotiate competitive pricing, payment terms, and contracts with suppliers.\n\nOversee purchase requisitions, quotations, purchase orders, and timely deliveries.\n\nIdentify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or service standards.\n\nCoordinate FF&E, OS&E, and operational purchasing requirements within approved budgets.\n\nMaintain procurement trackers, monitor critical deliveries, and ensure readiness for opening.\n\nIdentify procurement risks and implement contingency plans.\n\nSupplier & Contract Management\nEvaluate, select, and manage suppliers based on quality, cost, reliability, and sustainability.\n\nMaintain supplier contracts, records, and performance evaluations.\n\nEnsure supplier due diligence, including trade licenses, VAT documentation, and banking verification.\n\nPromote competitive local sourcing and responsible procurement practices.\n\nCost Control & Inventory\nMonitor purchasing expenditures and commitments against approved budgets.\n\nPrepare procurement forecasts, cost comparisons, and expenditure reports.\n\nCoordinate with Receiving, Stores, and operational departments to ensure quality, availability, and inventory efficiency.\n\nResolve delivery discrepancies, outstanding orders, and supplier-related issues.\n\nSystems, Compliance & Reporting\nImplement and manage FutureLog purchasing workflows, supplier records, and approval processes.\n\nEnsure compliance with UAE regulations, company procurement policies, authorization limits, and audit requirements.\n\nMaintain accurate purchasing documentation and complete audit trails.\n\nProvide regular procurement and budget reports to the Director of Finance.\n\nSupport internal and external audits and coordinate invoice reconciliation with Finance.\n\nSustainability\nPromote ethical sourcing, sustainable products, and environmentally responsible suppliers.\n\nIdentify opportunities to reduce waste and improve procurement efficiency.\n\n Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.\n\nMinimum 5 years of procurement experience, preferably in luxury hospitality.\n\nStrong negotiation, supplier management, and cost-control skills.\n\nKnowledge of FutureLog or similar procurement systems.\n\nFamiliarity with UAE regulations and procurement standards.\n\nExcellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.\n\nCIPS or equivalent certification is an
