This position will be responsible for the effective and efficient day to day operation of a fast paced premier dining establishment.\nWhat you will be doing:\nReporting to the Assistant Director, Food & Beverage, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:\nConsistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service \nResponsible for the service excellence and efficient day to day operation \nOversee the recruitment, mentorship and development of department leaders, and employees \nActively coach all employees to ensure that superior guest service is the primary focus \nParticipate in monthly forecasting and month end commentary \nPerform other duties as directed by the Director of Food & Beverage or Hotel Management \n Your experience and skills include:\nMinimum five years of senior experience in Food & Beverage Management \nStrong beverage, culinary and wine knowledge required \n“Proserve” Certified \nMust be computer literate with working knowledge of Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Windows programs \nMinimum of one year experience in a high volume bar setting, preferably in a full service four or five diamond property is a strong asset but not required \nExperience with Silverware is preferred \nPost-secondary degree in Hospitality or Food and Beverage Management an asset \nVisa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
