This position reports to Supervisor.\nKEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES\nProvide a warm and friendly welcome, leading guests and seating them at their table\nTake telephone bookings and maintain a clear and organized reservations \nAssist in the set-up of tables and displays\nMaintain and update guest database\nTo ensure full knowledge and understanding of LQA and Hotel Standards and to implement them in all interactions\nBe attentive to guests and resolve their complaints where possible, reporting all incidents to Supervisor/Assistant Manager/Manager\nTo undertake service training lead by the outlet Departmental Trainer/ Supervisor/Assistant Manager/Manager to ensure full capability in understanding and executing service standards\nTo ensure that all reports related to the outlet are well maintained and completed as per schedule and in a timely manner\nTo support the service team during times of need/crunch in service in the following areas, but not limited to: section holding, coffee station, back area and mis en place etc.\nMaintain cleanliness of hostess station and surrounding areas, as well as of all menus\nMaintain good working relationship with own colleagues, and all other departments\nCorrect preparation of all necessary operational material in the back office\nLearn safety, sanitation and hygiene policies\nPresent check to guests and perform cashiering function if needed\nEffectively control guest flow in the restaurant ensuring maximum turnover\nTrain staff in hostess standards\nEnsure the restaurant is ready to receive guests prior to opening and that both staff and tables are ready in line with opening standards\nCarry out any other duties as and when assigned by the Management of the Hotel\nAssist other Food & Beverage Outlets in their operations within peak times when needed\nWhat will you bring to this role?\nPERSONAL ATTRIBUTES\nExcellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English\nWell-presented and professionally groomed at all times\nStrong interpersonal skills and able to establish a good rapport with guests \nComputer knowledge (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint) \nEagerness to learn and share knowledge with the Team\nEmbrace the Raffles brand promise and luxury in your role and in all your interactions. \nFoster an inclusive environment where every individual feels valued and respected \nQUALIFICATIONS\nSecondary education\nEXPERIENCE\n1 year Hotel experience in F&B\n Employee Benefits:\nJoin our team and enjoy a range of exclusive colleague perks, including complimentary upgrades, extended stays, discounted stays across Fairmont & Raffles properties, special dining and wellness discounts, and added luxuries to enhance your experience.
