The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and driving group business from the corporate segment and Meetings, Incentives, Conferences & Exhibitions (MICE) agents, strengthening existing client relationships and identifying new business opportunities to achieve the hotel's revenue and occupancy objectives.\nThe ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of the UAE hospitality market, domestic and international group movements, Dubai's exhibition calendar and the corporate and MICE business landscape.\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop and execute sales strategies to generate group room nights and revenue from corporate accounts, MICE agencies, event organizers, and destination management companies (DMCs).\nProactively identify, solicit and secure new business opportunities across domestic and international markets.\nManage the full sales cycle from prospecting and client presentations to site inspections, proposal preparation, contract negotiations and business conversion.\nBuild and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, MICE agents, PCOs, DMCs, travel management companies and key industry partners.\nActively manage and respond to leads through MICE platforms and online sourcing portals.\nMonitor and leverage Dubai's key exhibitions, trade shows, conferences and major events to generate group and corporate business.\nDemonstrate a sound understanding of domestic and international group movements including corporate meetings, incentive groups, conferences and leisure groups.\nConduct regular sales calls, client meetings, hotel presentations, networking activities and familiarization visits to maximize business opportunities.\nPrepare competitive proposals, negotiate rates and contractual terms and ensure business is secured in line with the hotel's commercial strategy.\nWork closely with Revenue Management, Reservations, Events & Catering and other operational departments to ensure effective lead conversion, accurate forecasting and seamless group delivery.\nMonitor market trends, competitor activities, account production and business performance to identify opportunities.\nMaintain accurate account profiles, sales activity reports, sales pipelines and monthly production forecasts.\nAchieve assigned revenue targets while maximizing profitability and maintaining the hotel's positioning in the luxury hospitality market.\nCandidate Requirements\nMinimum 3-5 years of relevant sales experience in a 5-star hotel or luxury resort with a proven track record in MICE and corporate group business.\nDemonstrated experience in handling and securing group business from both corporate clients and MICE agents.\nHands-on familiarity with MICE sourcing platforms and portals particularly Cvent.\nStrong understanding of domestic and international group movements including the requirements of corporate meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions.\nGood knowledge of Dubai and the UAE's major exhibitions, trade fairs, conventions, and annual events calendar with the ability to translate these into business opportunities.\nExisting relationships with corporate accounts, MICE agencies, DMCs, and relevant industry partners will be an advantage.\nA valid UAE driving license is essential.\nExcellent communication, presentation, negotiation and interpersonal skills.\nStrong commercial acumen, business development capabilities and a results-oriented mindset.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office and OPERA.\nExcellent command of written and spoken English.
