Active participation to include but not limited to Sales Blitz’s, Prospecting, Site Inspections and Client Events\nManage all aspects of large multi-day conference as the sole contact onsite, in partnership with the operations teams.\nCoordinate large luxury weddings alongside wedding planners, vendors and partners.\nFacilitate all operations for off property catered events to include local offices, large event venues and boat catering.\nEnsure Banquet Event Orders & Group Resumes are completed and accurate for distribution as required\nInitiate the Event Services booking process by creating account bookings, contracts, establishing departmental files and generating timely notifications as it pertains to all types of guest and client inquiries\nActive solicitation of client guarantees and the timely distribution of the information in accordance with established departmental processes and as requested.\nManage deposit creation and collection in partnership with the on-property accounts team.\nWork closely with Group Rooms Specialist to ensure accuracy in VIP arrival times & VIP status where appropriate.\nResponsible for the accurate forecasting for all food and beverage events and month end reporting.\nManaging the design and printing of custom projects including - menus for weddings and events; event diagrams and seating floorplans\nAny other tasks assigned by the Director Event Sales and Services.\n Qualifications:\nA minimum of 4 years’ previous experience at management level in catering sales and large conference is required.
