No visit to Singapore is complete without a stay here, where the grand historic hotel exudes old-world grandeur infused with the unique charm of the city state.\n The Senior / Facilities Technician is responsible for daily engineering sections to support the hotel operations.\nPrimary Responsibilities\nDaily Engineering Operations\nOperates the equipment to deliver a comfortable room temperature to hotel areas.\nOperates the equipment to deliver clean water to the respective services in the hotel.\nOperates the equipment to deliver hot water to the respective services in the hotel as required.\nOperates the equipment to deliver clear and sharp images from the television and satellites equipment to hotel guest suites as required.\nOperates the equipment to deliver audio visual support to the hotel event as required.\nAssists and supports the emergency operations team during an emergency and a crisis in a timely and efficient manner.\nShift Operations\nRectifies equipment and facilities breakdown as required.\nReplaces faulty components / lighting bulbs as required.\nResponds to requests relating to technical issues from hotel patrons in a timely and efficient manner.\nCollects daily utilities meter readings and verify plant / equipment are in proper operations as required.\nPatrols hotel grounds to verify fire and safety risk as required.\nPatrols hotel grounds to verify all lightings on hotel grounds operate within the preset timings as required.\nPlant and Facilities Services\nOperates plant facilities to support every aspect of hotel operations in a timely and efficient manner.\nPreventive maintenance.\nRectifies / Repairs damaged furniture to the highest quality level and in a timely manner.\nRectifies / Paints defective building surfaces to the highest quality level and in a timely manner.\nOther Responsibilities\nOperates the hotel elevators and dumbwaiters as required.\nOperates the hotel swimming pool and water fountains as required.\nOperates the hotel fire protection services as required.\nOperates the hotel drainage and sanitary system as required.\nOperates the hotel television and satellites system as required.\nOperates the hotel public music system as required.\nOperates the hotel lightings and dimming system as required.\nInvolvement In Wider Job Function Actions/Relationships\nUpholds Accor Values of Guest Passion, Sustainable Performance, Spirit of Conquest, Innovation, Trust and Respect, in the execution of all duties and responsibilities.\nParticipates and supports sustainability in Corporate initiatives and programmes such as Corporate Social Responsibility, Diversity and Inclusion.\nPerforms any other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned.\n Candidate Profile\nKnowledge and Experience\nNitec Certificate in Building Facilities Maintenance, Electrical / Electronics, Air conditioning servicing and/or Plumbing.\nMinimum of 1 year of relevant experience.\nGood working knowledge of Microsoft Office.\nDetailed Engineering knowledge.\nPlan ahead.\nGreat communicator.\nAbility to communicate with all levels of colleagues.\nService oriented professionalism.\nAbility to contribute in a team environment.\nResponsive to change within the team.\nSense of urgency and able to set priorities.\n Benefits of Joining Raffles Hotel Singapore\nDuty Meals are provided.\nColleagues’ Discount and/or Preferential Room Rates at worldwide Accor Hotels.\nFlexible Benefit -
