Working under the guidance of the Duty Engineer and Engineering leadership, this role ensures that guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities operate efficiently, safely, and in accordance with Rixos standards.\nThe position requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a service-oriented mindset to support exceptional guest experiences in a luxury hospitality environment.\nKey Responsibilities\nPlumbing Operations & Maintenance\nInstall, inspect, maintain, and repair plumbing systems including water supply, drainage, sanitary systems, and related fixtures.\nDiagnose plumbing faults, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective solutions promptly.\nEnsure all plumbing systems in guest rooms, public areas, and operational facilities are functioning efficiently and safely.\nPerform preventive maintenance according to the established maintenance schedule.\nRespond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency plumbing issues to minimize guest disruption.\nSafety, Standards & Compliance\nFollow all Rixos Engineering Policies & Procedures and operational standards.\nEnsure full compliance with ISO Integrated Management Systems, including:Quality Management (ISO 9001)\nEnvironmental Management (ISO 14001)\nFood Safety (ISO 22000)\nCustomer Complaint Handling (ISO 10002)\nHealth, Safety & Risk Management\n\nAdhere strictly to safety guidelines, industry standards, and local regulations.\nSupport sustainability initiatives including water conservation, energy efficiency, and environmental protection.\nCoordination & Reporting\nWork collaboratively with other Engineering team members and departments to ensure timely completion of tasks.\nMaintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent.\nCommunicate clearly with supervisors regarding job status, technical challenges, and required follow-ups.\nProvide clear explanations when interacting with internal stakeholders regarding plumbing work carried out.\nGeneral Duties\nMaintain tools, equipment, and work areas in clean and safe condition.\nStay updated on plumbing technologies, techniques, and regulations relevant to hospitality operations.\nParticipate in Task Force Teams for new openings or special projects as assigned.\nCarry out any other reasonable duties as required by Engineering Management.\n Education: Diploma or Certificate in Plumbing or equivalent technical qualification.\nExperience: Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a hotel, resort, or
