We combine a multi-venue contemporary art museum, boutique hotel and a chef driven restaurant to create a unique and welcoming opportunity.\nCome join our Flock!\n Reports To: Spa Manager\nGeneral Purpose: The Spa Concierge is the frontline voice and face of the Spa and delivers the highest level of personalized service while maintaining a positive, enthusiastic, helpful and professional attitude with all guests and team members.\nSpecific Responsibilities:\nAnswers prospective guests’ questions and accepts reservations, exercising professional telephone etiquette when booking appointments, handling guests’ requests and questions.\n\nChecks in guests, answers questions, and handles guest requests and questions in a calm, professional, and courteous manner.\n\nCommunicates and describes in an articulate manner the spa offerings and their benefits, comparing and contrasting the different services on the menu.\n\nRecommends and up-sells services that fit the guests’ needs.\n\nRecommends retail products with a command of knowledge on all product lines.\n\nGives tours and describes the spa facility to all guests entering the facility.\n\nProvides beverage service to all guests.\n\nGets to know all guests that enter the Spa.\n\nComplies with rules and regulations for the safe and effective operation of the facility.\n\nMaintains spa facility by performing necessary housekeeping duties (picking up towels, cups, shower & bathroom area, vanity area and all surrounding areas) as requested.\n\nUpholds spa decor by maintaining the set-up and cleanliness of the area.\n\nEnsures guests services are started on time.\n\nProcesses payments as cash, credit card, gift certificates, comps and room charge transactions.\n\nMaintains a clean, safe, stocked and well organized work area.\n\nInventories and keeps products and supplies well-stocked\n\nAssists in all areas of the spa operation as directed by management.\n\nAssists with special projects as requested.\n\nParticipates in scheduled meetings as requested.\n\nReceives various services that are offered on spa menu and serves as a model for the training of new therapists when requested.\n\nDue to the nature of the hospitality industry, team members may be required to work varying schedules, weekend, and holidays to reflect the needs of the facility.\n\nMaintains an understanding of the spa industry and spa philosophy (balance, relaxation, unity, and a healthy lifestyle).\n\nUnderstands that as a representative of the Spa it is essential to maintain a healthy, fit appearance and a positive attitude.\n\nOther duties as assigned by your supervisor or manager.\n\n Punctual\n\nPassion and desire for excellence.\n\nProficient computer skills\n\nGeneral accounting skills (for daily closing procedure).\n\nAbility to troubleshoot and problem solve.\n\nAttention to detail.\n\nCooperative and friendly attitude.\n\nAbility to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.\n\nAbility to be efficient in a fast paced environment.\n\nAbility to use fax machine, copier and email.\n\nExcellent, reading writing and oral proficiency in the English language.\n\nPrevious customer service required.\n\nEnthusiasm for the spa industry and all things 21c.\n\nMust pass a background check\n\nEducation/Formal Training:\nHigh school or equivalent education required.\n\nPhysical requirements:\nMust be able to stand up or sit down up to 8 hours per day. Length of time of these tasks may vary.\n\nMust be able to lift 15lbs occasionally.\n\nRequires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, listening, hearing ability and visual acuity.\n\nSpeaking and listening occur continuously in the process of communication with guest, management, and team members.\n\nVision occurs continuously with the most common visual functions being those of near vision and depth perception.\n\nMust be able to operate office equipment such as computers, printer, multi touch tone phones, filing cabinet, fax machines, photocopiers and other office equipment.\n\nAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines. 21c Museum Hotels is an equal opportunity employer.
