It is a property with a distinct personality, a loyal international following and an ambition to be counted among the best in the world.\n RESPONSIBILITIES:\nReporting to the Housekeeping Management in direct alignment with Spa Management, the Spa Attendant is responsible for ensuring we provide the highest level of cleanliness in our Spa and Fitness studio whilst providing day cleans and servicing public spaces.\nGeneral:\nResponsible for signing in and out master keys daily.\nMaintain proper usage of cleaning supplies and equipment.\nKeep linen closets, supply closet and product cupboards organized and clean.\nResponsible for linen management daily\nReports any problems or questions to Supervisor assigned to the Spa.\nAid guest and colleagues in a courteous manner.\nUse hands to lift, carry, or pull objects that may be heavy.\nUnderstand simple instructions, learn simple procedures and techniques.\nPerform routine work or the same task daily.\nTo call In Room Dining for removal of trays/trolleys\nTo report instantly to your Supervisor any Lost and Found items.\nTo report any equipment malfunctioning.\nTo report any suspicious persons to the spa or other parts of the building.\nTo report anything which may be a Health & Safety hazard.\nMaintain excellent grooming and uniform standards and always be mindful of loud noises in the space as not to interrupt services.\nRead, Understand, and follow all department policies.\nBe prepared to carry out any other duties that may occur from time to time.\nAttend all proposed trainings and scheduled team meeting/ briefing sessions where possible.\nReview Spa Book4Time system or check with Spa reception to identify busier times in the locker areas and be prepared as not to invade guest privacy.\nGuide guest at the appropriate time to the location where they will meet their Service Provider if required and actively listen to anticipate needs throughout guest interactions to provide thoughtful gestures, personal touches and ensure an outstanding spa experience.\nProvide a warm and sincere closing at completion of service sequence and offer any further assistance before leaving the guest.\nEarly Shift:\nResponsible for ensuring that fitness studio is refreshed, with water towels and good quality fruit available.\nFollow Spa Check list to ensure lockers and towels are fully replenished throughout the day.\nPrepare Iced Tea / Welcome drink and ensure stocked up with enough glasses.\nCheck and ensure all shower amenities are filled to standard.\nEnsure that spa general spaces are checked throughout the day, at least every 30min according to spa LQA standards and checklists provided.\nMop up excess water in the hot spa area discreetly, while maintaining guest privacy.\nCheck in with spa reception on guest movements and treatments for the day.\nLate Shift:\nResponsible for sending linen down for wash.\nEnsure that all spa facilities including steam room, experience shower and salt room are clean and well maintained in preparation for opening the next day.\nWipe down surfaces and mop floors in treatment rooms and passages.\nReplenish towels and water as well as empty bins in fitness studio.\nOn closing spa, make sure that all lights, music, air-conditioning, Sauna, and steam room are switched off.\nWash spa glasses and stock up lockers with robes, slippers, and towels etc.\nFollow spa closing protocol checklist.\nEmpty all bins and towel baskets and replace the liners as needed in preparation for the next day.\n Work experience in a 5-star environment preferable.\nBasic understanding and writing of the English language\n EMPLOYMENT EQUITY \nWe as a company are committed to diversity and inclusion.
