At Rixos Phu Quoc, we value passion, professionalism, and collaboration, empowering our colleagues to grow and thrive in a culture built on excellence in hospitality.\n Position Summary\nRixos Phu Quoc Viet Nam is seeking a dedicated and hands-on Stewarding Team Leader to support the day-to-day operations of the Stewarding Department. Reporting to the Chief Steward, this role ensures the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, safety, and operational efficiency across all kitchen and F&B back-of-house areas, while fostering a positive and professional working environment.\nKey Responsibilities\nStewarding Operations\nSupervise daily stewarding operations to ensure all kitchen and service areas are kept clean, organized, and hygienic at all times.\nEnsure proper cleaning, washing, and storage of dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment in accordance with established standards.\nOversee garbage disposal procedures and ensure waste areas are maintained according to hygiene and environmental standards.\nEnsure opening and closing procedures for stewarding areas are strictly followed.\nEquipment & Inventory Control\nEnsure proper handling and care of all operating and kitchen equipment to minimize breakage and loss.\nAssist in conducting monthly, quarterly, bi-annual, and annual inventories of operating equipment.\nMonitor usage of cleaning chemicals and supplies to reduce wastage and spoilage.\nMaintain full knowledge of dishwashing machines, cleaning procedures, and chemical usage.\nHygiene, Safety & Compliance\nEnsure full compliance with HACCP standards, food safety regulations, and local legislation.\nWork closely with the Hygiene Officer to implement and monitor hygiene and sanitation procedures.\nAdhere to Rixos ISO Integrated Management Systems, including Quality, Environment, Health & Safety, Food Safety, and Guest Complaint Management (ISO 9001, 14001, 22000, 10002).\nEnsure all stewarding team members follow hygiene, safety, and appearance standards at all times.\nTeam Leadership & Training\nSupervise and guide stewarding team members during shifts, providing on-the-job coaching and support.\nEnsure team members are properly trained and follow established SOPs and operational standards.\nAttend and actively participate in departmental and hotel training sessions and meetings.\nMaintain good working relationships with kitchen, F&B, housekeeping, and other hotel departments.\nService & Guest Support\nProvide courteous, professional, and flexible service in support of all F&B operations.\nReport guest complaints or operational issues promptly to supervisors and ensure proper follow-up.\nRemain flexible to rotate within F&B or other departments when required by operational needs.\nGeneral Duties\nEnsure punctual attendance, correct uniform, name tag, and high standards of personal hygiene.\nComply with hotel policies, employee handbook, and procedures related to Fire, Health & Safety.\nUndertake any reasonable tasks or additional duties as assigned by the Chief Steward or Stewarding Management.\nBe flexible to support redeployment or extended duties during peak business periods.\n Previous experience in stewarding or back-of-house operations within hotels or resorts preferred.\nPrior supervisory or team leader experience is an advantage.\nGood understanding of hygiene, cleaning procedures, and safe use of chemicals.\nKnowledge of HACCP and food safety standards is preferred.\nCore Competencies &
