prescribed intervals as per the standards and monitor the same.\nPlan, direct and control all day-to-day activities of the Stores.\nPeople Management\nEstablish and maintain seamless co-ordination & co-operation with all departments of Ibis Bengaluru Hosur Road to ensure maximum cooperation, productivity, morale and guest service.\nCo-ordinate with the other departments to ensure operative effectiveness.\nEnsure that the team has been trained for all safety provisions.\nMotivate and develop the team to ensure smooth functioning of the department and promote teamwork.\nProvide effective support to the team to enable them to provide effective and efficient services.\nFinancial Management\nRegularly review the Stores to improve productivity by maintaining stocks, identifying slow moving/non0moving items, reduce spoilage and wastage & improve material handling and shortages.\nRecommend inventory levels for the goods in the stores to the Finance Department and seek approval.\nIdentify optimal, cost effective use of the resources and educate the team on the same.\nOperational Management\nTo order the goods that are required and also to ensure that optimal stock levels are maintained.\nTo check the par-stock and place order accordingly.\nEnsure to coordinate with the Finance Department to keep track of the respective lead-time of the goods.\nEnsure that the Stores Associate checks the expiry date of the goods and discards the goods accordingly, as per the standard process.\nTo receive all the goods as per the specifications & ensure to reject any goods if not as per the specifications.\nEnsure that the Stores Associate maintains proper records of goods received, goods issued, and quantity of stock, approved & rejected goods.\nManagerial Qualities\nLeadership skills that utilize persuasion and motivation to attain organizational goals is the most desirable management quality, followed by honesty, integrity, ethical behaviour, tactfulness, openness, and cultural awareness;\nAbility to accept responsibility;\nSelf confidence, motivation, drive and tenacity;\nAbility to enhance organizational performance;\nAbility to clearly delegate tasks and responsibilities;\nAbility to think strategically, inductively, and creatively;\nAnd the propensity to recognize and acknowledge other peoples’ ideas.\n Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Hotel Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Materials Management, or a related field.\nMinimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in Stores, Inventory, Materials Management, or Procurement, preferably in the hospitality industry.\nGood knowledge of inventory management, stock control, receiving, issuing, and storage procedures.\nStrong understanding of FIFO/FEFO, par-stock levels, expiry
