Full-Time\nReporting To: People & Culture Manager\nJob Summary\nBasiqat by Mantis is seeking a passionate, creative, and highly organized Training Supervisor to join our pre-opening team.\nThe successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating, delivering, and monitoring learning and development initiatives that support employee performance, service excellence, and organizational growth.\nAs a key member of the People & Culture team, the Training Supervisor will play an essential role in preparing our Heartists for the resort's opening, establishing a strong learning culture, and ensuring alignment with Accor and Mantis brand standards.\nKey Responsibilities\nLearning & Development\nCoordinate and implement the resort's annual training and development plan in alignment with business objectives and brand standards.\n\nConduct training needs assessments in collaboration with department heads to identify skills gaps and development priorities.\n\nDesign, organize, and deliver training programs covering guest service excellence, communication, leadership fundamentals, professional development, and operational competencies.\n\nFacilitate engaging classroom sessions, workshops, practical training, and interactive learning activities.\n\nSupport departmental trainers in developing and delivering effective on-the-job training.\n\nPromote a continuous learning culture across all departments.\n\nPre-Opening Training & Readiness\nDevelop and coordinate the pre-opening training calendar in collaboration with the People & Culture Manager and department heads.\n\nOrganize and facilitate Heartist orientation and onboarding programs for newly recruited employees.\n\nCoordinate brand immersion, service culture, and luxury hospitality training to prepare Heartists for the resort's opening.\n\nSupport the implementation of Accor and Mantis brand training requirements.\n\nCoordinate departmental training plans, operational simulations, and service readiness assessments.\n\nMonitor training completion and identify gaps that may affect operational readiness.\n\nSupport the development of training materials, presentations, learning resources, and departmental training checklists.\n\nEnsure that mandatory training requirements are completed before opening, where applicable.\n\nBrand Standards & Service Excellence\nPromote Accor and Mantis service culture, brand values, and guest experience standards.\n\nDeliver training programs focused on luxury service etiquette, guest engagement, personalization, and service recovery.\n\nCollaborate with Quality and operational departments to identify service improvement opportunities.\n\nSupport the implementation of guest experience and quality assurance training initiatives.\n\nReinforce sustainability awareness and responsible hospitality practices in line with the resort's eco-luxury positioning.\n\nTraining Administration & Reporting\nMaintain accurate training records, attendance sheets, evaluations, and completion reports.\n\nMonitor mandatory training compliance and follow up with departments on outstanding requirements.\n\nSupport the administration and utilization of applicable Accor digital learning platforms.\n\nPrepare monthly training reports, training calendars, and learning and development updates.\n\nEvaluate training effectiveness through feedback, assessments, and performance observations.\n\nMaintain organized training materials and ensure the availability of required learning resources.\n\nEmployee Development & Engagement\nSupport employee development initiatives, career growth programs, and internal talent development activities.\n\nCoordinate training nominations and participation in relevant learning programs.\n\nAssist in identifying high-potential employees and development opportunities.\n\nCollaborate with the People & Culture team on employee engagement, recognition, and cultural initiatives.\n\nEncourage departmental participation in learning activities and knowledge-sharing sessions.\n\nCoordination & Continuous Improvement\nWork closely with department heads to ensure training initiatives address operational needs.\n\nCoordinate with external training providers and internal facilitators when required.\n\nMonitor learning and development trends and recommend improvements to training delivery.\n\nSupport internal audits and training-related compliance requirements.\n\nPerform additional learning and development duties as assigned by the People & Culture Manager.\n\n Education & Experience\nBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Hospitality Management, Education, Business Administration, or a related field.\n\nMinimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in training, learning and development, or hospitality operations with training responsibilities.\n\nPrevious experience within luxury hotels, resorts, or internationally recognized hospitality brands is highly desirable.\n\nExperience in hotel or resort pre-opening operations is an advantage.\n\nFamiliarity with training needs analysis, instructional design, training delivery, and evaluation methods.\n\nKnowledge of luxury hospitality service standards and employee development practices.\n\nExperience using learning management systems (LMS) and digital training platforms is preferred.\n\nTrain-the-Trainer certification or other relevant professional training qualifications are an advantage.\n\nSkills & Competencies\nExcellent presentation, facilitation, and public-speaking skills.\n\nStrong communication and interpersonal abilities.\n\nExcellent command of English; Arabic proficiency is highly desirable.\n\nAbility to design and deliver engaging, interactive training sessions.\n\nStrong organizational, planning, and time-management skills.\n\nProficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.\n\nCreativity and enthusiasm for learning and employee development.\n\nStrong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate training records.\n\nAbility to work collaboratively with employees and managers
