The ideal candidate will have a PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field and a strong background in designing and building AI-driven systems. You will play a pivotal role in architecting, building, and scaling the platform that powers Accrete's AI products and agentic systems.\nThis is a hands-on technical leadership role. You will work across the full technology stack while driving architectural decisions, solving complex engineering challenges, and shaping the technical direction of the AI Platform. You will collaborate closely with software engineers, ML engineers, data scientists, and product teams to turn advanced AI capabilities into reliable, scalable, and production-ready systems.\nWhat You'll Do\nArchitecture & Technical Leadership\nLead the architecture, design, and development of core components of the AI Platform.\nDrive technical direction across frontend, backend, infrastructure, and platform services.\nDesign scalable, reliable, secure, and maintainable systems for complex AI agent workloads.\nSolve complex and ambiguous technical problems and make sound architectural decisions considering scalability, performance, reliability, cost, and time-to-market.\nIdentify architectural bottlenecks and technical risks and proactively drive solutions.\nEstablish engineering best practices across system design, code quality, testing, security, observability, and maintainability.\nFull-Stack & AI Platform Development\nDesign and build end-to-end features across frontend and backend systems.\nDevelop scalable APIs, services, and core libraries that power AI applications and agents.\nBuild developer-facing tools and intuitive interfaces for interacting with AI models, agents, and data.\nDesign and develop infrastructure for securely running and orchestrating AI agents and AI workloads in production.\nIntegrate AI/ML models, data pipelines, and emerging AI capabilities into production systems.\nBuild modular platform components that can evolve with advances in AI technology.\nScalability, Innovation & Collaboration\nArchitect systems for high performance, availability, scalability, and fault tolerance.\nDrive improvements in platform reliability, latency, resource utilization, observability, and developer experience.\nContribute to the long-term technical roadmap of the AI Platform and evaluate emerging technologies relevant to AI/ML systems.\nProvide technical mentorship and guidance to engineers and help raise engineering standards across the organization.\nLead technical design discussions, architecture reviews, code reviews, and complex problem-solving sessions.\nCollaborate with product, ML, data, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.\nOwn initiatives from concept and architecture through implementation, deployment, and continuous iteration.\nWhat We're Looking For\nEducation & Experience\nPhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related technical field from a Tier I institution.\n10+ years of experience in software engineering, with significant experience designing and building scalable production systems and platforms.\nProven experience owning complex, high-impact engineering initiatives from architecture through production.\nStrong experience with software architecture, system design, distributed systems, and scalable platforms.\nExperience providing technical leadership, mentoring engineers, and influencing technical direction across teams.\nExperience with AI/ML systems, AI agents, language models, or data-intensive applications is highly desirable.\nTechnical Expertise\nStrong frontend experience with React, TypeScript, or similar technologies.\nStrong backend development experience with Python, Go, or similar languages.\nStrong understanding of REST, GraphQL, and API/service architectures.\nExperience with relational and/or NoSQL databases.\nStrong experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.\nExperience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native architectures.\nStrong understanding of CI/CD, DevOps, observability, and production operations.\nExperience designing systems for security, reliability, performance, high availability, and fault tolerance.\nFamiliarity with AI/ML frameworks, model-serving infrastructure, or AI application architectures.\nLeadership & Problem Solving\nExceptional systems-thinking and problem-solving abilities.\nStrong technical judgment with the ability to evaluate complex engineering trade-offs.\nAbility to operate independently in ambiguous and rapidly evolving environments.\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nDemonstrated ability to mentor engineers and raise the technical bar across teams.\nStrong ownership and accountability for technical outcomes and business impact.\nNice to Have\nExperience building AI agent platforms, agent orchestration systems, or AI infrastructure.\nExperience with LLMs, Generative AI, or model-serving systems.\nExperience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or similar AI/ML frameworks.\nExperience with real-time systems, event-driven architectures, or streaming systems.\nExperience with Apache Spark or other distributed data-processing technologies.\nExperience designing secure execution environments for AI agents or untrusted workloads.\nExperience building developer platforms, internal tooling, or
