Then Acculogic is looking forward to meeting you!\nWe are searching for a talented engineering professional to join our Acculogic family as a Technical and Support Engineer located at our Markham, Ontario facility. This critical role supports the Acculogic business which is part of the Electronic Test division of inTEST Corporation. This division is on a trajectory of growth and provides an opportunity to support a global organization.\n About the Role\nThe Applications and Support Engineer is the technical interface between Acculogic and the customers for its flying probe, in-circuit and boundary scan test equipment. Based in the Acculogic facility in Markham, Ontario, and working with the business development and technical support teams you will be the technical lead providing both pre-sales and post-sales support. Candidates with prior experience with automated test equipment (ATE) for the electronics industry are strongly preferred.\nPosition Responsibilities\nPre-sales: customer demonstrations, evaluations and benchmarks, including development of test applications. Presenting Acculogic tools at trade shows and seminars to promote the technology and advance Acculogic’s customer market awareness.\nPost-sales: Phone support, equipment installation, preventative maintenance, fault identification and repair, installation of upgrades, delivery of training.\nDeveloping test projects for circuit board testing\nParticipating in Acculogic’s products and test procedures further development\nCollaborate with software development, engineering, sales and others to implement fixes, testing and install enhancements.\nWriting technical documentation, application notes and training materials\nExtensive local, national and international travel will be required. >50% travel\nAble to work remotely from home most of the time with some office work as well.\nRequirements\nMinimum Qualifications\nA Bachelor’s degree or similar in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field of study.\n1-4 years previous applicable experience\nAn understanding of electronics and electro-mechanical principles. Including component theory and a well-developed ability to read and interpret schematics.\nSelf driven, quick and eager learn, able to exhibit professional bearing under pressure.\nExcellent computer skills.\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent communication skills both verbal and written as well as presenting to technical working groups and seminars.\nTeam player with the ability to contribute to a matrix organization while maintaining the ability to act and think independently in a fast-paced environment when needed.\nAbility to travel domestically and minimally internationally.
