Our radiation therapy for cancer makes treatment shorter, safer, personalized and more effective, ultimately enabling patients to live longer, better lives.\nJob Description\nSummary:\nThe Test Technician is responsible for the inspection, configuration, troubleshooting, and testing of products to make sure they meet customer needs in accordance with regulatory requirements. This will be a first shift opportunity\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nTest, troubleshoot and repair of product in accordance with quality system requirements and manufacturing instructions.\n\nPerform manufacturing tests and commissioning of the medical systems, including but not limited to all instructions and procedures required to complete a fully commissioned system which has passed all testing and is ready for shipment.\n\nTest and configure computer systems in accordance with quality system requirements and manufacturing instructions.\n\nPerform or assist in component test and subassembly testing.\n\nParticipate in development and review of manufacturing procedures to help ensure manufacturing requirements and goals are achieved.\n\nAssist in development of manufacturing instructions, that document and control the manufacturing process.\n\nAssist the development of manufacturing tool and fixture requirements and promote ongoing control.\n\nAssist the training of manufacturing personnel, as required.\n\nAssist in deployment of product changes (ECOs) to ensure correct implementation.\n\nAssist the development of facility requirements to accommodate production, including workflow, shelving, other storage, and workstations.\n\nProvide feedback to manufacturing or engineering personnel concerning needs and product enhancements that would improve both quality and ease of production/servicing of the product.\n\nInterface and support regulatory affairs as required to help ensure production processes and facilities are in accordance with FDA, OSHA and other applicable regulations.\n\nImplementation and use of special facility controls that may be required, for example ESD, cleanliness, etc.\n\nQualifications:\nAssociate’s or Technical degree in Electronics, Computer Technology, or related discipline preferred.\n\nExperience with high voltage and radiation generating equipment.\n\nThree years’ experience working in manufacturing test or engineering activities is essential.\n\nExperience in interpretation and use of product design drawings, schematics and specifications.\n\nExperience with Windows OS and related applications.\n\nExperience with personal computer systems, including word processing, spreadsheet reports, and E-mail.\n\nFamiliarity and experience with oscilloscopes, DMM and other electronic test equipment.\n\nExperience in a heavily documented and controlled production process environment.\n\nExperience in product testing and understanding of calibration control.\n\nExperience in ESD and cleanliness special control processes.\n\nExperience with safety and health (OSHA), FDA and ISO 9001 quality system requirements.\n\nMust be able to regularly lift and/or move physical inventory weighting up to 50 pounds.\n\nThe employee is frequently required to climb ladders, kneel, crouch, or crawl as required during the manufacturing, inspection, and testing of Accuray's components and products.\n\nTo qualify for this position, candidates must be able to furnish proof that they are authorized to work in the country they are applying on a permanent basis without sponsorship.\nEEO Statement\nAt Accuray, our commitment to patient-first outcomes drives an inclusive and collaborative work environment where the best ideas rise to the top - and everyone works to push them further.
