The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security engineering and will be responsible for managing vulnerability reports from multiple tools, working closely with the development teams to ensure proper prioritization and remediation, as well as contributing to security training and compliance efforts. This position will report to the Head of Application Security for our company.\nKey Responsibilities\nVulnerability Management:\nMonitor and manage vulnerability reports from various security tools and platforms.\nAnalyze and triage vulnerabilities to assess risk and impact.\nCollaborate with development teams to prioritize and remediate identified vulnerabilities.\nTrack and report on the status of vulnerability remediation efforts.\nSecurity Program Development:\nAssist in the development and implementation of security policies, procedures, and guidelines for application development.\nEnsure applications are designed and implemented in accordance with security best practices.\nConduct security assessments and assist in code reviews to identify potential security weaknesses.\nTraining and Compliance:\nManage security training and awareness programs for development teams and other stakeholders.\nMaintain knowledge of current security trends, tools, and techniques.\nWork with IT team to ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.\nAssist in the development and maintenance of security documentation.\nCollaboration and Communication:\nWork closely with development teams to integrate security practices into the software development lifecycle.\nCommunicate effectively with stakeholders to address security concerns and promote security awareness.\nProvide guidance and support to development teams on security-related issues.\nQualifications\nEducation and Experience:\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.\nMinimum of 3-5 years of experience in application security or a related role.\nStrong understanding of security principles, practices, and technologies.\nExperience with vulnerability management tools and techniques.\nSkills and Competencies:\nProficiency in programming and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript).\nKnowledge of web application security frameworks and standards (e.g., OWASP, NIST).\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\nCertifications:\nRelevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are a plus.\nCompensation/Benefits Information\nAccuris states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is 318,000 PLN to 393,000 PLN annually (approximately 26,500 PLN to 32,750 PLN gross per month). Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual's geographical location as well as experience and qualifications for the role. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan as well as comprehensive benefits.
