Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.\nReceive, inspect, and verify all incoming materials, supplies, equipment, and returned goods against purchase orders, manifests, and invoices for accuracy.\nCheck quantities, types, sizes, and part numbers to properly identify materials; document and report any errors, shortages, damages, or defective parts.\nRoute, deliver, or store materials to appropriate manufacturing or storage locations using material handling equipment.\nCompute shipping and storage charges using computer systems or price lists, and confer with vendors or establishment representatives to resolve discrepancies.\nCoordinate outgoing shipments and maintain meticulous records of all received and shipped goods.\nAnalyze production metrics including materials used, scrap rates/patterns, departmental productivity, and aging work in process\nMonitor material inventory levels and assist in maintaining adequate supply to support uninterrupted production\nConduct inventory cycle count to ensure system accuracy\nTrack and update machine load schedules to ensure balanced workflow and optimal equipment utilization\nAssist in production flow by making sure parts are moving smoothly through the company, while also identifying production bottlenecks and support continuous improvement efforts\nEnsure accuracy and integrity of all production records and reports\nAssist planning in getting controlled documents to the shop\nPerforms other tasks and/or assignments as required\nRegular attendance on-site at the workplace is required\nThis role is identified as requiring ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) compliance; therefore, qualified candidates must meet the definition of a U.S. Person (per EAR Part 772 and ITAR 120.15):\nAn individual who is granted U.S. citizenship, or\nAn individual who is granted U.S. permanent residence (i.e., a \"Green Card\" holder), or\nAn individual who is granted status as a \"protected person\"\nRequired Education and Work Experience\nHigh School diploma or GED equivalent\nA minimum of two (2) years of related experience in manufacturing, production control, or a similar field\nOther Required Skills and Abilities\nBasic understanding of manufacturing processes, preferably within aerospace or precision machining\nAttention to detail and organizational skills\nProficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)\nExperience using ERP/MRP systems is preferred\nAbility to analyze data and generate accurate reports\nEffective communication and teamwork skills\nCritical thinking, problem-solving, and time management abilities\nExperience with production scheduling or inventory control systems is preferred\nPhysical Demands and Work Environment\nTo perform the essential functions of the role, employees must be able to perform the following activities with or without reasonable accommodations:\nRegularly stand and walk throughout the facility, and sit for long periods working on a computer\nOccasionally lift, carry (short distances), and push/pull up to 50 pounds using peer assistance and/or other lifting & material handling equipment\nOccasionally reaches overhead and reaches out or down to perform duties\nOccasionally bend, crawl, stoop, squat, or kneel\nWorking Conditions\nWork is performed in both an office and in the manufacturing shop environment where working conditions may vary significantly; the employee will be exposed to:\nExcessive noise (hearing protection required)\nDust, smoke, mist, fumes/vapors (regularly)\nExtreme temperatures (occasionally)\nHazardous equipment, including forklifts, hand tools, cranes or other lifting devices, and other equipment used in a machine shop environment (continually)\nThe use of PPE, including hearing protection, eye and hand protection, and safety footwear is required.\n\nThis position is classified as safety-sensitive.\n\nMid-Shift: Monday - Thursday, 9:30 am - 6:00 pm, Friday 9:00 am - 5:30 pm\nCompensation is determined by relevant experience, skills, certification. \n\nThis position is a temporary assignment managed in partnership with our staffing agency partner.
