Reasonable accommodations may be made to help enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions: \nAssembles product per documentation and directions provided\nPositions and aligns subassemblies in jigs or fixtures, following blueprint station lines and index points; verifies fitting tolerances using measuring instruments such as gauges and calipers\nInstalls parts and components; may specialize in assembling and installing parts, structural components, and/or subassemblies to build full assemblies and detail parts\nOperates hand tools, including drills, rivet guns, screwdrivers, etc.; verifies equipment is operating correctly and safely; performs basic troubleshooting and maintenance as appropriate\nLocates holes to be drilled in structural assembly for installation of parts and components; using jigs, templates, and measuring instruments; drills, reams, and countersinks holes in subassemblies and installs bolts, rivets, or other fasteners per drawings and work instructions\nUtilizes tape measure, mics, calipers, and other gauges to interpret and record part measurements per customer specifications accurately\nVisually assesses parts for missing or incomplete operations\nMaintains quantities and operational accountability per the manufacturing control plan\nMaintains a clean, organized, and safe work area\nFollows directions consistently and accepts responsibility for actions and work product\nComplies with applicable manufacturing processes, work procedures, and supervisor instructions\nAdheres to safety guidelines and procedures; proactively identifies job hazards and collaborates with leadership to minimize hazards and ensure employee safety\nPerforms other job-related duties as assigned\nRegular attendance on-site at the workplace is required\nRequired Education and Work Experience\nHigh School diploma or GED equivalent is required\nVocational training in a technical/mechanical field is preferred\nSix (6) months experience in mechanical assembly or similar production/manufacturing role is preferred\nOther Required Skills and Abilities\nExperience reading and accurately interpreting shop blueprints, technical drawings, and customer specifications is required\nExperience using precision measuring instruments including mics and calipers is required\nExperience using hand tools and instruments such as calipers, height gauges, drills, and rivet guns is required\nPhysical Demands and Work EnvironmentTo perform the essential functions of the role, employees must be able to perform the following activities with or without reasonable accommodations:\nRegularly stand and walk throughout the facility, stand for long periods to perform job duties\nRegularly lift, carry (short distances), and push/pull up to 100 pounds using peer assistance and/or other lifting & material-handling equipment\nOccasionally reaches overhead and reaches out or down to perform duties\nFrequently climb steps, stairs, or ladders\nOccasionally bend, crawl, stoop, squat, or kneel\nFrequently uses hand or fingers to manually inspect parts, tighten hardware & fixtures, and operate tools and material handling controls\nVisual acuity to interpret readings on gauges and other measuring devices\nWorking Conditions \nWork is performed in a manufacturing shop environment where working conditions may vary significantly;
