We're human too and know what it means to take care of you and your property.\nPosition Summary:\nThe Property Claims Billing Coordinator is responsible for managing and reconciling accounts receivable (AR), ensuring timely payment processing, and supporting customer account inquiries. This role involves handling all accounts receivable functions, such as cash applications, contacting customers with outstanding balances, using knowledge of insurance estimates to resolve balance disputes, managing billing inquiries, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to resolve account discrepancies. This role will also handle escalated issues needing urgent and expert solution management.\nKey Responsibilities:\nAccurately process daily cash applications\nFinancial data entry related to insurance estimates\nFollow up on aged balances, communicating with customers to resolve billing discrepancies\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve invoice disputes and drive solutions\nMaintain confidentiality with sensitive financial information\nSupport internal and external audits as needed\nWork with management regarding escalated issues affecting open receivables balances\nPartner with Clients and Vendors on sensitive matters requiring skilled resolution\nEnsure compliance with company policies and procedures\nTake on additional responsibilities as assigned\nRequirements\nMinimum Qualifications:\nTexas adjuster’s license or the equivalent required. Associate degree in accounting or related field, or equivalent education and experience is a plus\n2-3 years of property adjusting experience required\n2-3 years in accounts receivable and experience with Salesforce and NetSuite is a plus\nHigh level of proficiency in MS Excel (daily use)\nStrong problem-solving abilities to resolve escalated situations\nAbility to read, understand, and explain property insurance estimates and claims settlement practices\nStrong understanding of AR functions and related accounting transactions\nAbility to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced, team environment\nEffective communicator with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills\nStrong attention to detail and accuracy\nSolid organizational, time management, and analytical skills\nAbility to utilize technology devices, software and applications, previous experience with Microsoft Office Suites and basic computer skills required\nReliable high speed home broadband internet connection with minimum 25 meg download and 10 meg upload speeds and ability to connect to home internet via ethernet cord is required if working remotely\nAccuserve’s Human Centric Value Proposition:\nAccuserve is built on a foundation of community, fostering valuable connections, and creating an innovative approach to help you navigate the insurance landscape.
