The Benefits Coordinator reports to the HR Director and/or Talent Services Manager.\nPreferred Job Skills:\nAble to demonstrate basic computer and keyboard skills to include MS Office Suite.\nAcute attention to detail.\nAbility to maintain required levels of confidentiality when entrusted with sensitive business, customer, or employee related information.\nAbility to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.\nAble to maintain high levels of productivity, meeting deadlines while maintaining accuracy.\nEffective and professional communicator, both written and verbal.\nAble to maintain a pleasant customer service attitude while under pressure.\nMandatory Hiring Requirements:\nReferences, Background Check, Drug Screen Testing.\nResponsibilities: \nEnsures accuracy of all benefits enrollments in the Benefits Platform to provide vendors with accurate eligibility information.\nAssists new hires with initial benefits enrollments.\nAssists with annual open enrollments.\nAssists employees regarding plan and benefits claims questions.\nProcesses qualified family status changes.\nResponds to benefit inquiries from employees and managers.\nProcesses and administers all leave of absence paperwork including FMLA and disability.\nAssist accounting with billing charges.\nPosition Requirements:\nLicense: None required.\nCertification: SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) preferred.\nEducation: High School Graduate/GED required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.\nExperience: Minimum two years Human Resources and/or benefits administration experience required.\nWorking Conditions:\nWork in a climate-controlled office setting with varying degrees of stress and time pressure.\nConsiderable amount of time making repetitive motions.\nConsiderable amount of time sitting.\nConsiderable amount of time using telephone and computer.\nSounds, noise levels may be distracting or uncomfortable.\nRequired Physical/Mental Functions:\nComprehend and practice safe work procedures as outlined in the Company Safety Handbook.\nRead and interpret instructional manuals and written instructions.\nMust hear and see well (either natural or with correction).\nMust be able to bend, stoop, squat, kneel, push, pull and reach overhead.\nAble to lift objects weighing up to 30 pounds, with frequent lifting and carrying of objects weighing up to 20 pounds.\nTolerant to prolonged sitting.\nRepetitive use of arms, hands,
