This role assists in aligning project sequencing, procurement activities, and field execution under the guidance of senior scheduling staff. The Project Scheduler contributes to maintaining schedule accuracy and visibility while developing the skills needed to manage critical path elements and project constraints. The Project Scheduler will report to the Director of Mission Critical Operations.\nPreferred Job Skills:\nBasic knowledge of Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project (training acceptable).\nFoundational understanding of construction processes and sequencing.\nStrong attention to detail and organizational skills.\nAbility to communicate effectively with project teams.\nExperience working on electrical or mission critical projects.\nExposure to CPM (Critical Path Method) scheduling concepts.\nFamiliarity with construction drawings, specifications, and submittals.\nInternship or prior role supporting scheduling, project controls, or project management.\nBasic understanding of procurement workflows and material tracking.\nExperience using Excel for data tracking and reporting.\nFamiliarity with BIM coordination or VDC processes.\nOSHA 10 or equivalent safety training.\nAbility to travel to job sites.\nMandatory Hiring Requirements:\nReferences, Background Check, Drug Screen Testing, Valid Driver’s License.\nResponsibilities:\nAssist in the development of baseline schedules including activity definition, sequencing, and duration input.\nUpdate schedules on a regular cadence (weekly/monthly) based on field input and project team feedback.\nMaintain logic ties between activities to ensure proper sequencing and schedule integrity.\nTrack and update procurement status, including material releases, fabrication, and delivery dates.\nSupport integration of subcontractor schedules into the master project schedule.\nAssist in incorporating prefabrication, kitting, and installation workflows into schedule activities.\nParticipate in pull planning sessions and coordination meetings with project teams.\nGenerate standard schedule reports including look-aheads, progress updates, and variance reports.\nIdentify potential schedule impacts and escalate risks to senior schedulers or project managers.\nMaintain accurate records of schedule changes, assumptions, and updates.\nCritical Focus Areas\nSchedule data accuracy and consistency\nUnderstanding activity relationships and logic sequencing\nCoordination between procurement, prefab, and installation\nLearning labor productivity tracking and installation durations\nExposure to schedule risk identification and mitigation concepts\nKey Success Metrics\n· Accuracy and timeliness of schedule updates\n· Completeness and reliability of schedule data\n· Responsiveness to project team needs and deadlines\n· Improvement in scheduling knowledge and independence\n· Contribution to clear degree preferred.\nExperience: Minimum of 1-3 years of construction scheduling experience (electrical or mission critical preferred), engineering or project coordination experience.\nWorking
