Drawings will include underground duct bank and racks, electrical room layouts, IT, data room layouts, overhead conduit routing, seismic bracing layout, light fixture layout, concrete slab embeds, in-wall devices layout, and various support methods.\nPreferred Job Skills:\nFamiliarity and knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and application of the NEC into electrical design documents. \nAbility to create and maintain productive relationships with employees, clients, and vendors. Must possess ability to read and interpret construction/building designs. \nMust be able to collaborate in a fast-paced team environment. \nMust have basic math skills, dependable transportation, and a willingness to commute to remote job sites as needed. \nMust possess effective communication skills. \nMandatory Hiring Requirements:\nReferences, Background Check, Drug Screen Testing, Valid Driver’s License.\n\nResponsibilities:\nCollaborates with Project Managers and site leadership team to determine which systems and assemblies can be prefabricated to improve efficiency during install.\nObtains and assembles data to complete fabrication drawings, visiting job sites to compile information, as necessary.\nReads, interprets, and modifies designs.\nPrepares and creates clear, complete, and accurate plans and detail drawings from rough or detailed sketches/notes, contract documents, contract changes and/or bid specifications.\nWork with Revit and Evolve plugins for fabrications drawings.\nUtilize Navisworks for BIM reviews.\nUtilizes Bluebeam efficiently and creates assembly fabrication drawings.\nPerform project estimates in Accubid Anywhere.\nTravel to job sites and assist with installation when necessary.\nOther duties as assigned. \nPosition Requirements:\nLicense: Apprenticeship or state Journeyman license preferred. \nEducation: High School Graduate or GED. Technical Electrical Degree preferred. Electrical Apprentice Program Graduate preferred.\nExperience: Four years of related trade experience. \nRevit and AutoCAD experience. \nOSHA 10 for Construction. \nWorking Conditions:\nJob requires working in all weather elements; heat, cold, rain, or snow, depending on job location and time of year.\nMust be able to utilize construction site sanitary facilities (Porta-Johns).\nWork in restricted or confined areas such as switch gear-rooms, manholes, utility tunnels and crawl spaces.\nMust wear all personal protective equipment as required\nMust be able to regularly work 40 hours per week plus overtime as required.
