Here you won’t just “have a job,” you will be helping us to reshape the future of home services by providing reliable, best-in-class service to your neighbors in your community.\nJob Summary:\nThe Residential Plumber will apply their technical skills and knowledge in performing diagnostic, service, and installation of plumbing in residential and light commercial environments and ensure that work is performed in accordance with relevant codes. Responsibilities include assembling, installing, or repairing pipes, fittings, or fixtures of heating, water, or drainage systems in accordance with plumbing code specifications.\nJob Duties:\nPerforms residential and light commercial service calls to diagnose and resolve plumbing issues.\nIdentifies potential problems to prevent premature and/or unexpected breakdowns/callbacks.\nMaintains and repairs plumbing systems carrying water, steam, chemicals, and fuel in heating, cooling, lubricating and other process piping systems.\nInspects high-pressure, air, steam, water, and gas systems to ascertain malfunctions.\nRepairs or replaces plumbing fixtures, tests joints, and pipe systems.\nInterprets drawings and specifications to determine layout requirements.\nReviews blueprints, building codes or specifications to determine work details and procedure.\nStudies building plans and inspects structures to assess material and equipment needs, establish sequence of pipe installations, and plan installation around obstructions.\nMeasure, cut, thread, bend, ream, and install pipe and pipe fittings.\nAssemble pipe sections, tubing, or fittings.\nLocates and marks position of pipe installations, connections, passage holes, or fixtures in structures.\nInstalls pipe assemblies, fittings, valves, appliances or fixtures using hand or power tools.\nMaintains accurate documentation of service calls and time management.\nSubmits all complete paperwork in an accurate and timely manner.\nMaintains properly clean and stocked service vehicle.\nAttends weekly departmental meetings.\nParticipates in periodic inventory and truck inspections.\nMaintains tools and machinery in good condition and uses all tools in a safety-conscious manner.\nExplains to the client each service performed each time a maintenance or repair is completed and ensures complete customer satisfaction.\nCalls in for PO numbers for any materials picked up at suppliers and provides cost before and after taxes to ensure accuracy.\nProvides pricing to the customer for approval prior to performing any work.\nMaximizes lead opportunities based on the company's business plan.\nParticipate in all company-sponsored training classes.\nJob Requirements:\n5+ years of experience\nValid driver’s license and a clean driving record.\nGED or High School Diploma.\nEnvironmental conditions:\nField service environment.\nExposure to smells associated with sewer and water, sounds associated with power tools.\nExposure to dust and other debris.\nExtreme weather conditions.\nExtended work hours to include day and/or evening shifts.\nLocal travel.\nPhysical requirements:\nAbility to work under stressful conditions and may be exposed to verbal and/or physical confrontations.\nMust be able to work extended hours, nights or weekends.\nAbility to stand, walk, and climb ladders and stairs.\nAbility to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl.\nNatural or corrected vision to see and focus for close, distance, peripheral vision with normal depth perception.\nWork assignments may be performed with or without reasonable accommodation to a known disability.\nWhy should you join our team?\nWe live our values - W.E.L.I.G.H.T (Winning, Excellence, Love, Integrity, Gratitude, Humility, and Teamwork).
