The ideal candidate will be a data-driven problem solver with strong expertise in advanced statistical modeling, machine learning, Generative AI, and Large Language Models (LLMs). As a senior leader, the candidate will bridge the gap between advanced algorithmic research and scalable business applications, transforming data into predictive and prescriptive intelligence.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nModel Development & Engineering:\n\n- Design, build, optimize, and deploy complex machine learning models, predictive algorithms, and statistical frameworks.\n\n- Lead the end-to-end data science lifecycle, including exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, model development, deployment, and monitoring.\n\n- Identify and resolve algorithmic bias, model performance issues, and production bottlenecks.\n\n- Ensure models are accurate, robust, scalable, and production-ready.\n\nGenerative AI & LLM Implementation:\n\n- Lead the development and implementation of Generative AI solutions for complex business problems.\n\n- Work with Large Language Models (LLMs), including output optimization and fine-tuning where applicable.\n\n- Architect and implement RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) systems.\n\n- Explore and integrate advanced NLP techniques to automate data extraction and improve decision-making.\n\n- Develop scalable AI workflows using Agentic AI frameworks, such as LangGraph.\n\nStrategic Insights & Communication:\n\n- Translate complex statistical findings and model outputs into clear, actionable business recommendations.\n\n- Collaborate with business leaders to identify high-impact AI and Data Science opportunities.\n\n- Define KPIs and success metrics for AI/ML models and solutions.\n\n- Prepare and deliver presentations to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.\n\n- Act as a subject matter expert in Data Science, Machine Learning, Generative AI, and AI ethics.\n\nMentorship & Leadership:\n\n- Mentor and guide junior and senior Data Scientists and Engineers.\n\n- Share best practices in coding, experimentation, modeling, and professional development.\n\n- Contribute to the continuous improvement of data science workflows, MLOps processes, internal libraries, and tooling.\n\n- Stay current with industry trends, academic research, and advancements in AI and data science.\n\n- Guide the team in designing and implementing scalable AI solutions.\n\nQualifications:\n\n- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Physics, or a related quantitative discipline.\n\n- 10+ years of progressive experience in Data Science, with significant experience in a senior or staff-level role.\n\n- Proven track record of developing and deploying Generative AI or LLM-integrated production systems.\n\n- Strong proficiency in Python and machine learning libraries such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Scikit-learn.\n\n- Hands-on experience with Agentic AI frameworks, such as LangGraph.\n\n- Strong expertise in statistical modeling, time-series modeling, A/B testing, experimental design, and causal inference.\n\n- Experience working with large datasets, distributed computing technologies such as Spark, and data warehousing concepts.\n\n- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.\n\n- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.\n\n- Proven ability to lead, guide, and mentor teams in the design and implementation of scalable AI solutions.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n- Prior experience working within Google and PLX environments.\n\n- Experience with GCP, Vertex
