We provide:\nComprehensive health benefits that start day 1\nStudent Loan Repayment Assistance & Reimbursement Programs\nFamily-focused benefits \nWellness incentives\nOngoing mentorship, development, leadership programs...and more\nDescription\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\nSupervises and provides direction to staff in the maintenance, repair and installation of building systems and equipment.\nMonitors and directs workflow.\nEffectively manages employee performance.\nDevelops and implements on-the-job training.\nCoordinates and oversees activities of outside contractors and service personnel.\nEnsures compliance with policies, design plans and specifications.\nPerforms routine inspections of building systems and generates work orders for any corrective action.\nTroubleshoots chronic maintenance problems to ensure facilities and systems are operational.\nPrepares and authorizes requests for parts, materials and outside services and is responsible for the efficient use of equipment and supplies.\nCollects, organizes, and analyzes data to generate and provide accurate and complete reports for management and/or regulatory agencies.\nInterprets applicable regulations and establishes filing and auditing procedures.\nTakes the necessary precautions, in keeping with OSHA standards and other applicable federal and state regulations, when working with hazardous chemicals and materials and power equipment.\nUses personal protective equipment as required.\nMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:\nA high school diploma or equivalent.\nFive years of experience in building maintenance.\nA valid Georgia driver's license and an insurable driving record.\nSome positions within this classification may require the ability to lift 50 pounds and to bend, stoop and twist.\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS (Medium): 20-50 lbs; 0-33% of the work day (occasionally); 11-25 lbs, 34-66% of the workday (frequently); 01-10 lbs, 67-100% of the workday (constantly); Lifting 50 lbs max; Carrying of objects up to 25 lbs; Occasional to frequent standing & walking, Occasional sitting, Close eye work (computers, typing, reading, writing), Physical demands may vary depending on assigned work area and work tasks.
