shape our accounting practices:\nAccounts Receivable Operations\nOversee end-to-end accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, collections, cash application, account reconciliations, and dispute resolution.\nEnsure timely, accurate, and compliant billing in accordance with customer contracts and company policies.\nMonitor accounts receivable ageing and drive proactive collection strategies to minimise delinquency and reduce credit risk.\nPartner with internal stakeholders and customers to resolve billing and payment issues efficiently while maintaining positive customer relationships.\nSupport working capital optimisation through effective cash collection and receivables management practices.\nTeam Leadership & Development\nLead, coach, and develop a team of six accounts receivable professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, customer service, and continuous improvement.\nEstablish clear performance expectations and provide ongoing feedback, mentorship, and career development opportunities.\nDrive employee engagement and build team capabilities to support organizational growth and evolving business needs.\nCross-Functional Collaboration\nWork closely with Finance Systems and IT teams to optimise AR-related systems, workflows, and reporting capabilities.\nServe as a trusted advisor on billing, collections, and customer account matters across the organization.\nProcess Improvement & Systems\nIdentify, lead, and implement process improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, accuracy, scalability, and customer experience.\nEvaluate and leverage automation tools and technologies to streamline invoicing, collections, cash application, and reporting processes.\nDevelop, maintain, and strengthen accounts receivable policies, procedures, and internal controls.\nSupport system implementations, upgrades, and process transformation initiatives across the order-to-cash cycle.\nReporting, Analytics & Compliance\nOversee the preparation and presentation of key accounts receivable metrics, including ageing, collections performance and billing activity.\nAnalyze receivables data to identify risks, opportunities, and actionable insights for Finance leadership.\nSupport internal and external audits by providing documentation, reconciliations, and control evidence.\nEnsure compliance with company policies, financial reporting requirements, and internal control standards.\nExperience we feel will set you up for success:\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.\n5+ years of progressive experience in accounts receivable, collections, or accounting, including at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory capacity.\nStrong understanding of the full accounts receivable lifecycle, including invoicing, collections, cash application, reconciliations, accounting treatments, internal controls, and policy development.\nProven experience leading teams and driving process improvements within a fast-paced, high-growth environment.\nExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with a strong attention to detail.\nStrong verbal, written, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.\nDemonstrated ability to prioritise competing demands, manage deadlines, and deliver results in a dynamic environment.\nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the broader Microsoft Office suite.\nPreferred:\nExperience within a SaaS or recurring revenue business model.\nExperience using NetSuite, Salesforce, and other order-to-cash or financial systems.\nKnowledge of revenue recognition principles and order-to-cash processes in a subscription-based environment.\nExperience leading automation, system implementation, or process transformation
