Interacts with product and service teams to identify questions and issues for data analysis and experiments. Develops and codes software programs, algorithms and automated processes to cleanse, integrate and evaluate large datasets from multiple disparate sources. Identifies meaningful insights from large data and metadata sources; interprets and communicates insights and findings from analysis and experiments to product, service, and business managers.\nA typical day at ACI for aData Scientistis:\nDevelops predictive models for customers utilizing a variety of statistical and machine learning algorithms.\n\nHolds responsibility for projects of a moderate degree of complexity.\n\nExecutes all stages of model development and delivery including data definition, sampling, preprocessing, feature selection, model generation, and validation and support or production model release.\n\nValidates and prepares data for model development, performs exploratory data analysis and data cleaning on large datasets and queries and visualizes data with a variety of tools.\n\nWorks with a team of scientists and engineers responsible for the development and deployment of the state-of-the-art predictive models for a variety of financial applications.
