This is a hands-on engineering role that combines cloud security, security operations, incident response, automation, and continuous security improvement.\nYou will work closely with engineering, cloud, platform, AI/ML, and operations teams to implement scalable security controls, strengthen detection and response capabilities, and support compliance and audit requirements.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign and implement security controls across AWS and Azure environments.\nBuild and enhance security operations capabilities, including SIEM/SOAR, detection engineering, alert triage, and incident response workflows.\nSupport security investigations, incident response, and post-incident remediation activities.\nImprove identity and access management, encryption, logging, vulnerability management, and platform hardening controls.\nDevelop automation, security tooling, standards, runbooks, and technical documentation.\nPartner with engineering teams to embed secure-by-design practices across applications, cloud services, and AI-enabled solutions.\nParticipate in an on-call rotation supporting security incidents and escalations.\nMentor junior engineers and contribute to security best practices across the organization.\nQualifications\nRequired\n7+ years of hands-on experience in Security Engineering and/or Security Operations.\nExperience securing cloud environments, preferably across both AWS and Azure.\nStrong knowledge of SIEM/SOAR platforms, incident response, vulnerability management, and security monitoring.\nExperience supporting security incidents and on-call response activities.\nStrong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.\nAbility to work independently and collaborate across multiple technical teams.\nPreferred\nExperience with Python, PowerShell, Bash, Go, Ansible, or similar automation tools.\nExperience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), Policy-as-Code, and continuous compliance frameworks.\nKnowledge of container and Kubernetes security.\nExperience with AI/LLM security, governance, testing, or monitoring.\nExposure to regulated or audit-focused environments.\nIndustry certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, AZ-500, AWS Security Specialty, GIAC, or equivalent.\nWhy Join ACI?\nAt ACI Worldwide, you'll help secure the technology that powers payments and commerce around the globe.
