You will work with the Business Unit Leader & Chief Architect to translate priorities into achievable plans, identify problems early and help stream leads improve prioritisation, delegation and communication.\nThis role combines practical delivery ownership, technical understanding and team development. You should be comfortable investigating implementation details and contributing code or automation while keeping delivery commitments realistic.\n\nKey responsibility areas:\n\nDelivery planning and prioritisation\nWork with stream leads to break requirements into tasks, estimates, milestones and delivery plans.\nPlan against actual capacity, including development, support, mentoring and leave.\nMaintain clear priorities for each stream and limit excessive parallel work.\nCoordinate dependencies, shared resources and handovers across projects.\nAssess new requests and make their impact on existing commitments explicit.\nIdentify delays and risks early; bring options and recommendations to resolve them.\n\nExecution and communication\nMaintain an accurate view of project progress, owners, blockers and expected completion dates.\nRun focused planning sessions, delivery reviews and retrospectives.\nProvide concise stakeholder updates covering progress, risks, changes and decisions needed.\nFollow through on agreed actions and escalate unresolved issues promptly.\nHelp leads resolve routine delivery problems without requiring repeated intervention from the BU Leader.\n\nLead development and team support\nCoach stream leads in work breakdown, prioritisation, delegation and early escalation.\nHelp balance workloads and recognise signs of overload.\nSupport onboarding, mentoring arrangements and development goals for engineers and interns.\nGive timely feedback and provide evidence for performance reviews.\nEscalate persistent performance concerns and sensitive people issues to the BU Leader.\n\nTechnical contribution\nUnderstand proposed implementations well enough to assess feasibility, dependencies and delivery risks.\nContribute contained code changes, debugging, scripts or internal tools.\nHelp improve development workflows, testing and engineering practices.\nCoordinate with the Build & Release Engineer on release scope and readiness.\n\nRequired skills and experience\nPrevious software-development experience and the ability to read and discuss application code.\nDemonstrated ownership of delivery across multiple projects or workstreams.\nPractical experience with estimates, capacity planning, dependencies and changing priorities.\nExperience guiding engineers or coordinating a development team.\nAbility to challenge unrealistic commitments constructively.\nClear written and verbal communication.\nWorking knowledge of Git, CI/CD and a project-tracking tool or Azure DevOps.\n\nPreferred experience\nDeveloping less-experienced engineers or project leads.\nWorking in a small or growing engineering organisation.\nCoordinating integrations, APIs, databases and releases.\nAutomating repetitive reporting or development tasks.\n\nOwnership and decision-making\nYou will own delivery coordination and propose changes to scope, sequencing and capacity. Stream leads retain technical execution ownership.\nThe BU Leader & Chief Architect retains business priorities, technical strategy, final performance ratings, promotions and sensitive people decisions. People-management authority can expand as you demonstrate readiness.\n\nSuccess in the first 90 days\nEstablish a reliable delivery view across active streams.\nMake priorities, capacity constraints and dependencies visible.\nIntroduce consistent planning and useful stakeholder updates.\nHelp leads raise risks earlier and manage fewer conflicting commitments.\nReduce routine delivery interventions from the BU Leader.\n\nOther important information:\nWork permit requirements: Either Indian Citizen or having valid works in India\nPeriod of engagement: Full time\nProbation period: 6 months\nCompensation: Compensation varies depending on the skill, fitment and role played by the person. Compensation discussions will take place post the selection process.\nPerformance incentives: Typically, all roles at Acies have a performance incentive.
