As a Multisite Maintenance Technician 2 at Ackermann Group, you will deliver excellent customer service by performing unit make-readies and maintenance requirements including; assisting with snow removal, grounds upkeep, equipment upkeep and basic level service requests as needed. This is a training role that will provide opportunities to further the employees’ level of proficiency within the maintenance trade. Additional responsibilites include:\nPhysical activities related to exterior grounds maintenance.\nJanitorial duties helping to preserve and maintain any aspect of the apartment community and its facilities.\nPool water management if applicable.\nWorking alone or with other maintenance personnel to perform unit make-ready process as well as intermediate level repairs (i.e. Plumbing, Electrical, Carpentry, Appliance Repair, HVAC & Painting).\nParticipating in move-in/out inspection process.\nGeneral property maintenance as identified by supervisor.\nParticipating in snow event preparation and removal.\nResponsible for responding to periodic after hours “emergency” maintenance requests.\nParticipating in community and equipment related preventative maintenance tasks.\nParticipating in inventory management of maintenance line items as needed.\nTaking responsibility for other work-related tasks as assigned by Community Manager or Maintenance Supervisor.\nThe ideal Maintenance Technician 2 will have:\nAvailability to work full-time: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm with emergency on-call rotation as designated by the Community Manager\n1 or more years of related experience that demonstrates a broad knowledge of general maintenance\nEPA Type I & II, CAMT, and/or CPO certifications are a plus!\nExceptional attention to detail\nA positive, team-oriented attitude\nA valid driver’s license with proof of insurance\nHigh school diploma or equivalent \nWe are proud to offer many Benefits & Perks at Ackermann Group including:\nCompetitive hourly compensation + quarterly bonus and lease renewal commission potential\nHealth benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance\n401k retirement program with company match\nPaid time off including sick, vacation, holidays, and your birthday!
