This role combines hands-on technical expertise with frontline leadership, requiring the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical and PLC-related issues while developing and directing a team of skilled electrical maintenance technicians.\nThis position partners closely with production, engineering, and operations leadership to minimize downtime, improve equipment reliability, support continuous improvement efforts, and maintain compliance with all applicable electrical and safety standards. Success in this role will be measured through equipment uptime, response to downtime events, team development, preventative maintenance effectiveness, and overall operational performance.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead, coach, and develop a team of electrical maintenance technicians to support manufacturing operations\nTroubleshoot and resolve complex electrical, motor control, automation, and PLC-related issues\nCoordinate and prioritize daily electrical maintenance activities to support production requirements\nProvide rapid and effective response to equipment failures and downtime events to minimize operational disruptions\nDevelop, implement, and sustain preventative and predictive maintenance programs that improve equipment reliability\nSupport equipment installations, upgrades, modifications, and capital improvement projects\nPartner with Engineering, Production, and Operations teams to identify and resolve recurring equipment and process issues\nEnsure compliance with OSHA, NFPA 70E, and all company safety standards and procedures\nConduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring failures\nMaintain electrical documentation, schematics, maintenance records, and troubleshooting procedures\nMonitor team performance and provide ongoing training to strengthen technical and problem-solving capabilities\nPromote a culture of accountability, teamwork, continuous improvement, and operational excellence\nSupport multiple shifts and provide leadership coverage as needed to ensure operational continuity\nDrive improvements in equipment reliability, maintenance efficiency, and overall production performance\nEnsure all maintenance activities support ASC's commitments to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction\nWhat We're Looking For\nMinimum of 7 years of industrial electrical, controls, or maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment\nMinimum of 3 years of leadership or supervisory experience leading maintenance or electrical teams\nStrong working knowledge of industrial electrical systems, motor controls, VFDs, sensors, and power distribution systems\nDemonstrated experience troubleshooting PLC-based automation systems\nStrong understanding of preventative maintenance principles and reliability-focused maintenance practices\nProven ability to lead teams, establish priorities, and make sound decisions in fast-paced production environments\nKnowledge of OSHA regulations, NFPA 70E requirements, and electrical safety best practices\nStrong communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across departments\nExperience supporting manufacturing equipment installations, startups, and equipment improvement initiatives preferred\nStrong root cause analysis, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications and maintenance documentation systems preferred\nCommitment to safety, quality, accountability, and operational excellence\nPhysical & Work Requirements\nAbility to regularly walk the production floor and interact with manufacturing teams\nAbility to stand, bend, and move throughout manufacturing areas during assessments, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities\nAbility to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.\nAbility to support multiple shifts and work flexible hours when required to support operational needs\nAbility to work in both office and manufacturing environmentsCome helps us build safer, smarter, and more efficient ways to power the world's most demanding data centers.\nAbout ASC\nAcoustical Sheetmetal Company (ASC) provides on-site power integration for large-scale data centers.
