Success in this role will be measured through quality of work, productivity, safety performance, skill development, and contribution to team objectives.\nKey Responsibilities\nPerform basic electrical installation, assembly, and repair work in support of manufacturing and production operations.\nInstall conduit, wire, electrical components, devices, and supporting hardware according to engineering drawings and work instructions.\nRead and follow blueprints, wiring diagrams, electrical schematics, and production documentation.\nAssist with control panel wiring, equipment wiring, and point-to-point electrical connections.\nSupport the installation and assembly of generators, power distribution equipment, and electrical systems used in ASC products.\nAssist experienced electricians with troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair activities.\nUtilize hand tools, power tools, and basic electrical testing equipment safely and effectively.\nSupport electrical testing and inspection activities to verify proper operation, quality, and compliance with specifications.\nIdentify and report quality concerns, material shortages, safety hazards, and production issues to supervision.\nMaintain accurate production records, documentation, and required job-related paperwork.\nMaintain clean, organized, and safe work areas in accordance with company standards.\nSupport occasional field installations, service activities, or job site visits when required.\nFollow all company safety policies and procedures, including OSHA, Hazard Communication (Haz-Com), Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), confined space requirements, and PPE standards.\nParticipate in training and development activities to expand technical knowledge and electrical skills.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, and operational excellence.\nWhat We're Looking For\nHigh School Diploma or GED required.\nVocational electrical training, apprenticeship experience, or equivalent technical education preferred.\n1 to 3 years of electrical experience in manufacturing, industrial, commercial, construction, or related environments preferred.\nBasic understanding of electrical systems, wiring methods, electrical components, and installation practices.\nAbility to read and follow electrical drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and work instructions.\nFamiliarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic electrical testing equipment.\nBasic knowledge of electrical safety practices and safe work procedures.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.\nWillingness to learn, accept feedback, and develop new technical skills.\nStrong work ethic and ability to work effectively as part of a team.\nAbility to follow verbal and written instructions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nBasic computer skills and ability to complete required documentation.\nCommitment to safety, quality, teamwork, and continuous improvement.\nPhysical & Work Requirements\nAbility to regularly work in both manufacturing and assembly environments.\nAbility to stand, walk, bend, reach, stoop, and move throughout an 8+ hour work shift.\nAbility to lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 50 lbs.\nAbility to climb ladders, access elevated work areas, and work in confined spaces when required.\nAbility to safely work around low-voltage and high-voltage electrical systems while following established safety procedures.\nAbility to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and comply with all safety requirements.\nAbility to use hand tools, power tools, testing equipment, and material handling equipment as required.\nAbility to work overtime and flexible schedules when necessary to meet production demands.\nCome helps us build safer, smarter, and more efficient ways to power the world's most demanding data centers.\nAbout ASC\n Acoustical Sheetmetal Company (ASC) provides on-site power integration for large-scale data centers.
