This role plays a critical part in ensuring raw materials, work-in-progress inventory, and finished goods are properly received, tracked, stored, and issued to support production schedules and customer commitments.\nThe ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position works closely with Purchasing, Production, Shipping, and Warehouse teams to maintain inventory accuracy, resolve discrepancies, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Success in this role will be measured through inventory accuracy, timely transaction processing, material availability, and overall operational efficiency.\nKey Responsibilities\nReceive, store, issue, and track raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods throughout the facility.\nMaintain accurate inventory records and ensure inventory transactions are processed promptly and accurately.\nPerform routine cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits and reconciliation activities.\nInvestigate inventory discrepancies, identify root causes, and work with leadership to implement corrective actions.\nOrganize warehouse locations, material storage areas, and inventory labeling systems to maximize efficiency and accuracy.\nSupport material movement between departments, production areas, and company facilities as required.\nCoordinate with Purchasing, Production, and Shipping teams to ensure materials are available to support production schedules and customer deliveries.\nMonitor inventory levels and communicate material shortages, excess inventory, or inventory concerns to leadership.\nSafely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment in accordance with company safety standards.\nMaintain accurate receiving, shipping, and inventory documentation.\nAssist with material staging and preparation of inventory for production and project requirements.\nSupport implementation and maintenance of inventory control procedures and best practices.\nMaintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and inventory control environment.\nParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on inventory accuracy, warehouse organization, material flow, and operational efficiency.\nComply with all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.\nWhat We're Looking For\nMinimum of 2 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, material handling, or a related field.\nBasic understanding of inventory management principles, inventory transactions, and material flow processes.\nExperience using QuickBooks, ERP systems, inventory management software, or similar inventory tracking tools.\nProficiency with Microsoft Excel and general computer applications.\nStrong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high levels of accuracy in inventory records and transactions.\nExcellent organizational and time management skills.\nAbility to analyze inventory discrepancies and assist with problem-solving and corrective actions.\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple departments.\nAbility to work independently while maintaining collaboration with internal teams.\nDependable attendance and a strong work ethic.\nCommitment to safety, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.\nExperience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.\nForklift certification preferred or ability to obtain certification.\nFamiliarity with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, inventory optimization, or continuous improvement methodologies preferred.\nRequired Education & Training\nHigh School Diploma or GED required.\nAssociate degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, Operations, or a related field preferred.\nInventory management, warehouse operations, or logistics-related training preferred.\nForklift certification preferred.\nOSHA safety training is a plus.\nEquivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience may be considered.\nPhysical & Work Requirements\nAbility to regularly work in warehouse, manufacturing, and inventory storage environments.\nAbility to stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, and move throughout the facility during an 8+ hour shift.\nAbility to lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 50 lbs.\nAbility to safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and material handling equipment.\nAbility to work in environments with varying temperatures, noise levels, and manufacturing activity.\nAbility to use computers, handheld scanners, inventory systems, and related technology throughout the workday.\nAbility to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and comply with all safety requirements.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining attention to detail.\nCome helps us build safer, smarter, and more efficient ways to power the world's most demanding data centers.\nAbout ASC\n Acoustical Sheetmetal Company (ASC) provides on-site power integration for large-scale data centers.
